Last night Ray-Ban celebrated the birth of the brand with the re-launch of their most iconic frames – the Ray-Ban Aviator – with a live
event at Music Hall in Williamsburg. It takes a lot for me to head to Brooklyn (even if it’s over the bridge) to attend an event but I wasn’t going to miss this event. Yesterday, you’ve seen the six new styles of the Ray-Ban Aviator – Ray-Ban Aviator Craft, Ray-Ban Aviator Road Spirit, Ray-Ban Aviator Tech, Ray-Ban Aviator Titanium, Ray-Ban Aviator Metal Glide and the limited edition Ray-Ban Aviator Ultra Gold – now here’s a peek at who came out to party!

The event was crazy, up in VIP I’ve spotted Kate Bosworth, Kelly Osborne, Juliette Lewis, Justin Long and Chloë Sevigny. Downstairs I saw Leigh Lezark and Irina Lazareanu just chilling. The highlight of the event was when Iggy & The Stooges hit the stage, it was CRAZY! I got scared for Iggy Pop, no joke! He went topless and invited his fans up on stage and he fell in the crowd a couple times because it was so CRAZY and crowded lol! It was EPIC (video to come)! Other great performances last night included New York’s own The Virgins and the Philadelphia based Free Energy, with a DJ set by New York City’s party girl Roxy Cottontail. I had a great time!

If you’re diggin’ the new Aviators, the collection will be available starting June 2010 at Sunglass Hut. Prices range from $139 to $485, the lenses are available in two different versions, polarized and non-polarized.
