Le Labo Santal 33 Launch @ Barneys New York

On Tuesday night, I stopped by Barneys New York for the launch of Le Labo‘s new fragrance, Santal 33. Le Labo creator, Fabrice Penot was there to talk about the brand and also the story behind the new fragrance. Simon Doonan was there too since he’s a big fan of Le Labo, who isn’t right?! I love Le Labo, my brother got me obsessed with the Santal 26 candle, which is the same candle that Gramercy Park Hotel burns. Santal 33 was inspired by the the Santal 26 candle, so I automatically loved it. Fabrice also dished about some of Le Labo’s celebrity fans, Karl Lagerfeld’s favorite is Neroli 36 and Ryan Reynold’s favorite is Patchouli 24. I love that the fragrance is made fresh on the spot as you order it, something other fragrance brands don’t do. As a tip, keep your Le Labo fragrance in the fridge so it lasts longer (up to 2 years!). At the end of the night all the bloggers got to choose a fragrance of choice, I went with the Santal 33 of course!
