I personally really like the H&M Fashion Against AIDS collection, so excited to see the latest collection! “H&M is launching its fifth Fashion Against AIDS (FAA) collection, to raise funds and create awareness about HIV/AIDS among the young. Available in around 300 H&M Divided departments from April 26, 2012 as well as online (where available), this year’s collection brings together ethnic influences from different continents.” Great collection and a great cause, 25% of all sales will go directly to a variety of international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects. Can’t wait till the weather gets warmer and get my hands on some of these pieces! Do you like?
Valentine’s Day is around the corner, did you already get a gift for your loved one yet? I’m a sucker for cutesy stuff and these new Swatch Original Gent Valentine’s Day Watches are pretty damn cute aren’t they? There are two styles to choose from. Catch My Heart is ruby red and features a small white figure, emerging from a scarlet rose sketched on the dial. Lovely Mine is a pink design. The pink dial is home to a cute character in a rabbit costume, the ears of which join to form a heart shape. Each watch is $60, cute and doesn’t break the bank!
Back in October Coach previewed its Spring 2012 collection at The Archive at The Coach Carriage House. It was pretty awesome to get to check out The Archive Coach collections, there were lots of bags that I’ve never seen before and I really do love all the classic leather bags. For Spring 2012 handbags, accessories and shoes for women they have infused spring colors and has interpreted it with 70 years of leather artistry. Featuring natural vachetta, color-blocked Italian waxed calfskin and other beautifully textured leathers, as well as exceptional limited editions and commemorative anniversary styles, they incorporated classic designs and iconic hardware from the Coach archives while taking a fresh and functional approach to luxury. Take your pick, there’s always something from everyone in the Coach collections. My faves are always the classics.
I know a lot of you guys love H&M product previews, so here ya go (I love it too ha)! Some of the products have already hit H&M stores already, you know H&M always puts stuff out early. Look out for your faves this month and February, I know I’m going to be buying a bunch! Love the sorbet colors, so soft and subtle, and how cute is this smokey transparent jacket? Need! Every time I visit LA, I always find time to visit my friends at the H&M Showroom and also to check out the new collections. The LA showroom is pretty amazing, spacious and has an amazing view, I can seriously work out of that location ha! Last month I visited Kendall at the showroom and previewed some new Spring 2012 samples and I’m seriously loving all the sorbet and neon colors, makes me so happy! I’m seriously not trying to tease anyone (including myself) not being able to shop this Versace for H&M Cruise 2012 collection but I couldn’t resist posting the lookbook images featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw and River Viiperi. Lucky for those that are in the markets that can shop on hm.com, you guys will be the only ones being able to shop the online exclusive on January 19th. Click here to see the full collection. The women’s collection is light and feminine, with a berries and butterflies print on dresses, tops, negligées, dressing gowns and a silk cashmere cardigan. There are also white jeans, bikinis, and accessories such as charm bracelets, print bags, ballet flats and high heels. For men, the focus is on fashion classics like a leather detail wool blazer, jeans and denim shirts, alongside pleat-front shorts in cotton or denim. Do you like the collection? Don’t worry, I’m sure eBay will have a ton of stuff after the release…
Back in October, I’ve posted about the nOir Jewelry x L.A.M.B. collaboration here are more photos from the collection. nOir Jewelry designer Leeora Catalan and Gwen Stefani came together to collaborate on an entire jewelry collection which will be available beginning February 2012. The collection will be available at department stores, high end specialty boutiques, and online at noirjewelry.com. The collection features four groups with inspiration drawing from very different areas, but all coming together in a cohesive way that also represents both of the brands. India was a huge inspiration in the entire collection, as well as punk references that both Stefani and Catalan are known for. Enamel, studs, and cords are all components in the collection, used in various ways with geometric shapes and prints. Bangles and rings are stacked to add drama to the looks on the runway, but can be worn individually for a more everyday look. Pretty amazing right? Can’t wait to get my hands on the collection! |
