H&M Fashion Against AIDS Spring 2012 Collection

I personally really like the H&M Fashion Against AIDS collection, so excited to see the latest collection! “H&M is launching its fifth Fashion Against AIDS (FAA) collection, to raise funds and create awareness about HIV/AIDS among the young. Available in around 300 H&M Divided departments from April 26, 2012 as well as online (where available), this year’s collection brings together ethnic influences from different continents.” Great collection and a great cause, 25% of all sales will go directly to a variety of international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects. Can’t wait till the weather gets warmer and get my hands on some of these pieces! Do you like?

Special prints were commissioned from international artists and illustrators for this collection to create pieces bursting with colour, pattern and authenticity. Whether it be colourful African trims on blouses and bustiers, graphic black and white Maori prints on leggings and crop-tops, or the folkloric Inuit designs from Greenland on draped T-shirts, this year’s FAA collection puts global tribes in a 21st century context. As well as macrame, fringed and dip-dyed pieces for girls and printed T-shirts and cropped harem trousers for guys, the collection also includes fashion accessories such as hats, footwearand jewellery, as well as special pieces such as iPhone cases, festival ponchos, hammocks and plasters.

Versace Étoile De La Mer Eyewear Collection ft Gisele Bündchen

It’s a sunglasses kinda day today, here’s another good one! Versace releases the Versace Étoile De La Mer eyewear collection featuring the fabulous Gisele Bündchen as the face of the campaign. The collection features intricate metalwork and colored lenses add a touch of urban and contemporary playfulness that perfectly capture the spirit of Versace. I’m kinda obsessed with the pair that Gisele is wearing, so cool right?

Designed to reflect a Versace siren in the city during a hot summer, the Versace Étoile De La Mer collection captures the sensuality and strength of the muse with the oversized sunglasses and optics. Donatella Versace says, “Gisele was the perfect choice for the campaign. Her beauty is so bold…and she radiates true strength and sensuality.”

The collection is scheduled hit stores in April including Versace stores, Sunglass Hut and sunglasshut.com.

Coach Spring 2012 Collection Preview

Back in October Coach previewed its Spring 2012 collection at The Archive at The Coach Carriage House. It was pretty awesome to get to check out The Archive Coach collections, there were lots of bags that I’ve never seen before and I really do love all the classic leather bags. For Spring 2012 handbags, accessories and shoes for women they have infused spring colors and has interpreted it with 70 years of leather artistry. Featuring natural vachetta, color-blocked Italian waxed calfskin and other beautifully textured leathers, as well as exceptional limited editions and commemorative anniversary styles, they incorporated classic designs and iconic hardware from the Coach archives while taking a fresh and functional approach to luxury.

Take your pick, there’s always something from everyone in the Coach collections. My faves are always the classics.

Alexander Wang Mink Fur Sunglasses

Ever since I’ve seen these Alexander Wang Mink Fur Sunglasses on his Fall 2011 runway I’ve been obsessed. Now that the sunnies are available, I’m debating if I should get them or not. These Camden Sunglasses with Mink Goggle Strap can also be removed if you think it’s too much. Both ways look so good, I’m very very temped. What do you guys think? Yay or nay?
