Kate Moss for MANGO Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign

I knew MANGO was up to something when Kate Moss showed up at its Fall/Winter 2011 fashion show in Paris and also filmed a video with Terry Richardson for the show. MANGO announced that Kate Moss will be the star of its new Spring/Summer 2012 campaign and of course photographed by Terry Richardson. The styling was done by Géraldine Saglio, while Charlotte Tilbury and Odile Gilbert were responsible for make-up and hair, respectively.

This season, the brand is opting for a graphic contrast between clean and unstructured lines. In counterposition to this fluidity and cleanliness of lines, we can see a clear 60s influence, particularly in the dresses. Lightweight, pleated and gathered fabrics which offer movement and present a fresh, new and feminine proposal for this season. As a contrast to these pure lines, we are introducing a more casual line in which we are bringing together artisanal elements from various ethnicities and blending them with sportswear details to give them a very simple and urban look. Tie-dye, abstract prints and patchwork in indigo and yellow tones with unwashed effects.

Here are two images from the ad campaign and also two behind-the-scenes photos as well. More to come! She looks fabulous in anything, love her! Do you like Kate Moss in MANGO?

Remember I was in Barcelona last month for the MNG by MANGO for jcpenney mission campaign? On the second day of the trip was the photo shoot for me and 9 other Style Coalition bloggers. Previously I’ve done looks inspired by London, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam and finally here’s Barcelona! I just got the final image and the group photo, I’m loving it! For those that always say that I don’t wear color, here ya go, I’m in bright red. It was definitely an amazing journey, I had a great time. And I just have to add, I wish I have my own professional makeup artist and hair stylist with me 24/7, a gurl can only dream haha. I seriously loved my hair! Check out the group photo and behind-the-scenes video below.

Photos by Yu-Ming Wu

On the second day of my Barcelona trip, it was the MNG by MANGO for jcpenney photo shoot with the 9 other Style Coalition bloggers. I got up bright and early to get my makeup and hair done at the studio, I love the pampering! I wish I can have a personal makeup artist do my makeup everyday haha, it’s like best thing. It was really fun shooting but also stressful because you want the end results to be good, can’t wait to see how the photos came out. I’ll share them when I get them. More trip photos to come…

Barcelona 2011 Photo Diary Day 1: Arrival + Mango Headquarters
Photos by Yu-Ming Wu

I’m back from Barcelona and I’m already missing it! As you know I was there for the jcpenney and MNG by MANGO Mission campaign, more about that later. It was so nice being back there, seeing old friends at MANGO and meeting new bloggers. After checking into Granados 83 Hotel, rested a bit then out we went. I was there about 1.5 years ago for MANGO and now I’m back again, it felt like dejavu. After a quick rest, all the bloggers went to tour the MANGO Headquarters/Designer Center, it was my second time there. Seriously, the MANGO HQ has one of the best art pieces, amazing.

The weather was pretty nice when I was out there too, just a bit chilly at night but nothing like NYC. Here’s some photos from the trip, dinner photos will be in another post…

A few days ago Mango held its Fall/Winter 2011 fashion show in Paris and what’s interesting this season is that Mango partnered up with Kate Moss and Terry Richardson for a video that aired before the show. Directed by Terry Richardson and starring the one and only Kate Moss, “The Great Escape” video features both of them robbing Mango in Terry Richardson masks while Kate styles herself in the new collection in a runaway van. I also included photos of model Isabeli Fontana since she is the new face of the brand. Check out some of the photos from behind-the-scenes, front row from the show and also the runway video after the jump…
