Versace Étoile De La Mer Eyewear Collection ft Gisele Bündchen

It’s a sunglasses kinda day today, here’s another good one! Versace releases the Versace Étoile De La Mer eyewear collection featuring the fabulous Gisele Bündchen as the face of the campaign. The collection features intricate metalwork and colored lenses add a touch of urban and contemporary playfulness that perfectly capture the spirit of Versace. I’m kinda obsessed with the pair that Gisele is wearing, so cool right?

Designed to reflect a Versace siren in the city during a hot summer, the Versace Étoile De La Mer collection captures the sensuality and strength of the muse with the oversized sunglasses and optics. Donatella Versace says, “Gisele was the perfect choice for the campaign. Her beauty is so bold…and she radiates true strength and sensuality.”

The collection is scheduled hit stores in April including Versace stores, Sunglass Hut and sunglasshut.com.

Jason Wu for Target Private Launch Event

Last week Jason Wu and Target celebrated the Jason Wu for Target collection launch at Skylight Soho New York with a private shopping event before it arrives in stores on February 5th, as well as performances by French dance-pop group Yelle and DJ Harley Viera-Newton. At the event I spotted designer Jason Wu, Blake Lively, Chloe Moretz, Jaime King and Tyson Beckford. And one of the best things was the Ladurée macarons station, it’s so yum! The shopping area was cray, everyone including celebrities were trying to get a piece from the collection! Not all the pieces were available that night, I picked up the Trench Coat in both colors (black and navy), the Long-Sleeved Blouse (blush) and Dot-Printed Shirt Dress (cream), there are a few other things that I wanted that weren’t available so I’ll be buying on Target.com when it releases. Super cute and fun event!

Kate Moss for MANGO Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign

I knew MANGO was up to something when Kate Moss showed up at its Fall/Winter 2011 fashion show in Paris and also filmed a video with Terry Richardson for the show. MANGO announced that Kate Moss will be the star of its new Spring/Summer 2012 campaign and of course photographed by Terry Richardson. The styling was done by Géraldine Saglio, while Charlotte Tilbury and Odile Gilbert were responsible for make-up and hair, respectively.

This season, the brand is opting for a graphic contrast between clean and unstructured lines. In counterposition to this fluidity and cleanliness of lines, we can see a clear 60s influence, particularly in the dresses. Lightweight, pleated and gathered fabrics which offer movement and present a fresh, new and feminine proposal for this season. As a contrast to these pure lines, we are introducing a more casual line in which we are bringing together artisanal elements from various ethnicities and blending them with sportswear details to give them a very simple and urban look. Tie-dye, abstract prints and patchwork in indigo and yellow tones with unwashed effects.

David Beckham for H&M Ad Campaign

I was literally just telling my friend about the David Beckham for H&M collaboration yesterday and today images of the ad campaign has released. Drooling! The ultimate eye candy, how hot is Beckham?! Ah! The collaboration is an ongoing collection, so you’ll be able to wear “Beckham” for awhile ha.

According to the press release, the “first collection introduces nine underwear styles for men which will go on to form the products of the long-term unique partnership between David Beckham and H&M. Designed by David’s in-house team and sold exclusively at H&M, the focus is on fit, function, comfort and design, avoiding overt branding to present a range of new classics, comprising of briefs, boxers, vests, T-shirts, pyjamas and long johns. The result of eighteen months of research and development, the collection aims to set a new standard in men’s bodywear for the 21st century. Available from February 2, 2012 in 1,800 H&M stores worldwide as well as on-line (where available).”

Isabel Marant Resort 2012 Sneakers

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and happy new year again! I’m still kinda on vacation mode so please bear with me as I slowly get back into blogging mode lol. Anyway, did you guys get everything you wanted on your wishlist for Christmas? Well, I kinda did! I’ve been wanting to get my hands on the Isabel Marant hi-top sneakers since last season but didn’t want to fork out $800+ for them. I finally got them for Christmas, so happy. There are more colorways then what is pictured here! Alicia Keys is the latest celeb to rock the Willow, she looked so cute with her family (see pic below). I have the same pair as Alicia, I’ll be posting my pics later on.

Miu Miu Musings V

Two weeks ago I was invited to Miu Miu Musings V, The Dawn of the Modern Woman, which took place at the Miu Miu 57th street store in NYC. Miu Miu Musings V was hosted by Shala Monroque and moderated by André Leon Talley and writer Sam Wasson. I swear I can listen to André Leon Talley talk all day, he’s so funny. I was quite surprised to see Solange Knowles at the event, it was my first time seeing here there, she’s actually really down to earth. Great event as always.

After Miu Miu Musings, I joined Miu Miu for dinner at The Monkey Bar. The restaurant is really cute and the food was great too, def will go back!
