Winter Kate by Nicole Richie Spring 2010 Collection Preview

Nicole Richie released spring/summer 2010 look book images of her contemporary line, Winter Kate, on her official blog yesterday. According to her blog, the collection consists of approximately 40 pieces: dresses – long and short, blouses, tunics, vests, bed jackets, kimono tops and more structured jackets, in vintage silk crepe and vintage silk chiffon, some with fringe and handcrafted embroidery or cotton macramé details. The collection is inspired by timeless prints and shapes; beautiful paisley and florals that have been vintage washed and some have been over-dyed for that classic feel. The line also reflects Nicole’s love of vintage and classic. More info available in my previous post, here. If you’re a fan of the line, the collection is slated to release in February 2010.

Both lines, she noted, are aimed at the same customer. “She is a woman like me: She does not look at labels; she knows how to mix and match. The pieces can be dressed up, made casual, but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun.”

Who Wore It Better? Rihanna vs. Paris Hilton
Photography: Celeb City

I love to see celebrities face off with outfits, who do you think owned the look for the Alexander Wang Two Tone Pencil Dress that was seen on both Rihanna and Paris Hilton? Looks like both of them rocked their fab dress with black pumps, Rihanna in Jil Sander Pumps and a metallic Erva Razza Tote. Paris accessorized with ex-bff Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 Resin Necklace and finished off with YSL Tribute Pumps. Who was more fab?
