PPQ x adidas Originals

Another reason to rock more adidas, first it was Stella McCartney, then onto Jeremy Scott and now they’ve tapped London ready-to-wear label PPQ to release a sportswear collection for fall/winter 2009. Amy Molyneaux, PPQ co-founder, says they referenced Mohammad Ali’s original boxing boots and key items such as stirrup pants that most girls seem to want for it’s practical style. They are not scared of simple classics, and this is what they have offered in this collection. The photo shoot and line looks dope, I love black and white! Looking forward to the release, def going to pick up a few pieces.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring 2010 [Detailed Pics]

On Monday, you’ve got a sneak peek of the Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals by Originals Spring 2010 collection, here’s a detailed preview from Hypbeast. According to HB, “the spring/summer 2010 range again includes re-interpretations on some of the most beloved adidas products as well as completely new designs for men and women. Inspired by rockstars, highlight pieces come with lots of rhinestones, fringes and prints.” As mentioned previously, the JS Wings continues to be the center of attention in the collection, this time in a hologram colorway. But all eyes on the Torero suit that Jeremy was rockin’ himself, it’s “a remake of the iconic Superstar track top mixed with influences of traditional matador bullfighting jackets. The suit comes with hand-sewn sequins, tassels and an embroidered tonal oversized Trefoil on the back.” DOPE, hope the Torero suit comes in small sizes, I’d totally rock it! Can’t wait to see more images from the collection.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring 2010 [First Look]

Most of you guys already know I’m a big fan of the Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals by Originals collection, I’ve been keeping an eye on it since the debut collection. Sadly to say I still have not yet been able to obtain a small size of the JS Wings, the smallest size the adidas Originals store carries is a men’s 6, but recently I learned that Packer Shoes carries as small as men’s 4.5 (hurry!). I’m sure most of the small sizes went to Asia, hopefully I’ll get my hands on a pair soon!

Since the debut of the JS Wings, they’ve been extremely popular and hard to get, the newest color to drop is the black and silver pairs. Come spring 2010, a hologram version of the JS Wings will be released, which made its debut at Jeremy Scott’s “Flintstones” spring 2010 fashion show during London Fashion Week (more on that later). Thanks to HighSnobiety, we have the first look at the Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals by Originals spring 2010 collection. Can’t wait to see more from the look book, stay tuned!

Jeremy Scott x adidas – JS Wings – Metallic Silver + Black – Available

By now, when people think of Jeremy Scott designed adidas sneakers, the first thing that will likely come to mind are the adidas JS Wings which made its debut Fall 2008. The shoe is a modified version of the adidas Metro Attitude Hi that has been given a completely new look thanks to the giant leather wings that hang off the side. We have already seen White and Metallic Gold versions of the JS Wings and now, Jeremy has blessed us with two new colorways of the attention-grabbing style. Joining the JS Wings family will be a Black on Black edition and a Metallic Silver pair with Black accents. As wild as these might seem, they are actually almost tame compared to some of the other sneaker creations that Scott has whipped up for adidas. If you need some bold kicks to tide you over until the crazy multi-colored JS Wings drop.  They do come in sizes all the way down to a 3.5 so if you need them, check for them at PackerShoes or adidas Originals locations now and if you need small sizes, there are a few on ebay now. via Sneaker News

Melissa x Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Wing Shoes

Vivienne Westwood premieres her new design for Brazilian eco-friendly shoe brand MELISSA, called “MELISSA Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Wing” during her Red Collection Spring 2010 show at London Fashion Week. The shoes are 100% recyclable and are super cute- they remind me a bit of the Jeremy Scott for adidas JS Wings Sneakers (which I love also). The shoes retail for $190 and is slated to release in January 2010 at Patricia Field, count me in for a pair! Love her designs for Melissa all the time!
