I haven’t really posted just an outfit pic for a long time since I’ve moved all my “outfit posts” to retrogurl.com. But since I’ve gotten quite a few requests to post up pics of when I wear the Jeffrey Campbell “Tick” Peep Toe Wedge, here it is. I’ve received them from Karmaloop.com (thanks Gio!) for awhile already but wanted to save the special shoe for a special day, my birthday. I rocked these out to dinner to The Standard Grill (post to come) and got a lot of compliments, they are super hot and super comfy too. I wore them throughout the night and could of partied in them too but it was a weekday, so I’ll have to save these for next time. I’m seriously obsessed with these shoes, they’re amazing, makes any plain outfit more interesting. I’ll be sure to put these in good use! Have a great weekend! More pics after the jump…
This may be a little late but after the hectic schedule from New York Fashion Week it didn’t stop, the end of September was birthdays, weddings and catching up with my life. Two weeks ago the highly anticipated H&M Divided Exclusive Fall 2009 Collection finally released, I caught the end of it and picked up a couple of pieces- sizes were scarce but I made out pretty well. I was struggling to find a dress for my good friend Su’s wedding which was last week (09.27) and I finally found the perfect dress, the velvet puff sleeve dress from the H&M Divided Exclusive collection. I already wore quite a few pieces from the DE collection, see outfits below- love it all! Lately my agenda has been all black, just happens everything I buy and put on is black but I love it. Looking forward to H&M’s next Divided Exclusive collection. Did you pick up any DE pieces? If yes, what? Outfit: H&M Divided Exclusive Puff Sleeve Dress, H&M Belt, H&M Divided Exclusive Studded Bangle, H&M Ring, Marc by Marc Jacobs Spike Ring and YSL Croc Pumps More pics after the jump…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! It’s my birthday today (September 29th), along with my dear big bro Steven (we are not twins, we’re a few years apart). We celebrated our birthday with our parents yesterday at Fatty Crab, every year we have dinner with our parents on either the day before or the day of to thank them for “having us” and to spend some quality time together. Without my parents, there will not be me, so I thank them dearly and will always love them! I’ve celebrated with some of my friends this past weekend already, had good dinners and fun times at karaoke! More dinner celebrations this week. Thank you to everyone for all the lovely notes, emails and texts, I feel loved! More pics after the jump…
Finally catching up with New York Fashion Week event posts, it has been chaotic for reals. On September 12th, Rachel Zoe launched her QVC collection straight from the Bryant Park Tents and it was a star studded event. I stopped by for a bit and finally got a close look at Rachel Zoe, she’s so fab- loved her outfit especially the sequin blazer she wore! Other fab celebs that attended were Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford, Heather Graham, Shenae Grimes, Michael Urie and many more. Apparently the Rachel Zoe for QVC collection sold out within 25 minutes, too bad I was out because I did want the faux fur vest! The power of Rachel Zoe… More pics after the jump…
Here’s a recap for the 3rd day (9/12) of New York Fashion Week, it was crazy. Woke up bright and early for the Lacoste show (see finale video here), saw Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen (hotttttt!) sitting front row and I got a picture with one of my faves, Chanel Iman backstage again. Stayed at the Tents for the Edition show, walked out and saw the YSL Manifesto girls but all the totes were gone already (did any of you guys get one?). Then at 3pm headed to check out the Richard Chai LOVE women’s collection (check the preview here), rested a bit then back to the Tents at 8pm for the Vivienne Tam show (check out the new Vivienne Tam x HP Mini here) afterward stayed at the Tents for the Rachel Zoe for QVC launch event, it was a star studded event (check out the collection here). And last but not least the best party of fashion week was Alexander Wang’s after party at a Mobil gas station next to Milk Studios! Fun times! Stay tuned for all fashion shows and events recaps!
