Keith Haring Foundation, Planned Parenthood and PROPER ATTIRE collaborated in honor of World AIDS Day. Together, they have created a limited-edition condom that now makes it creative and chic to use protection. Keith Haring for PROPER ATTIRE condoms will premiere December 1, 2009, at the exclusive Mondrian in South Beach, throughout Art Basel, Mondrian in Los Angeles and the new Kiki Di Montparnasse store. The line will also be available for purchase online at www.properattirecondoms.com and www.haring.com. Proceeds from the sales of PROPER ATTIRE condoms benefit Planned Parenthood.

Aside from providing the public with a stylish new way to practice safer sex; the goal of this new fashion item is to change the public’s perception of the use of condoms. Planned Parenthood operates more than 850 health centers nationwide, providing medical care and sexuality education for millions of women, men, and teenagers each year. PPFA believes that providing PROPER ATTIRE condoms at Planned Parenthood affiliate health centers and in selected retail channels throughout the U.S. encourages women to have safer sex – in style.

Interview’s Semi-Automatic Vending Machine @ Art Basel Miami

I’ve never really been tempted to go to Art Basel at Miami Beach but I might need to take a trip there this year. Why? Read on. Interview Magazine is hosting Art Basel at Miami Beach this year, in honor of Interview’s 40th Anniversary they’ll be stocking the vending machine along with a number of chic and sophisticated partners. These products will be curated with unique and symbolic retail items to celebrate 40 years of pop culture; one of a kind creations, rare editions, new releases, cult classics and exclusive experiences.

The Semi-Automatic vending machine which is already in‐situ at the Mondrian Hotel South Beach since January 2009 is a dispenser of everything luxurious, it takes over an entire wall in the hotel lobby with a sleek and minimalist Japanese design by Ito Partnership. Maya Hayuk x Ray-Ban Wayfarers for Sunglass Hut

Ray-Ban and New York-based artist Maya Hayuk partnered to customize and hand-paint 150 pairs of the iconic Wayfarers exclusively for Sunglass Hut for a good cause. Each pair will be completely unique and one-of-a-kind, a true piece of wearable art. Some of the designs reminds me of Skittles which puts a smile on my face- fun and happy sunglasses.

The vibrant Wayfarers retail for $140, the regular price of the Wayfarer, with 50% of the proceeds going to Luxottica’s charity, OneSight. 50 pairs of the sunglasses will be available at the Sunglass Hut boutique in SoHo, New York – hitting the store on Black Friday (11.27.2009) and 50 pairs will become available in the San Francisco boutique on Cyber Monday (11.30.2009). The remaining 50 pairs will be available at www.sunglasshut.com. Maya will also create an installation in the windows so that shoppers can watch her work in action, her murals on display in each store will also be auctioned off in support of OneSight.

Veuve Clicquot Yellowboam

I get quite a few packages sent to the office but this one package that arrived just before Halloween has me in awe, actually the whole office was amazed. When the messenger arrived with a heavy box, he was curious as to what was in the package. Everyone thought it was a case of Veuve Clicquot at first, the entire office surrounded the package as I unboxed and unveiled what was inside.

Veuve Clicquot sent over a monstrous ostrich Yellowboam, which is limited to 1200 in its kind, there are 3600 in total with 1200 each in ostrich, alligator and stingray. The hand-blown Jeroboam (3L, contains four standard bottles worth) is simply amazing, sealed with 22.4 ct. gold and 24 ct. muzzle engraved with Mme. Clicquot’s signature. The enormous bottle came in a golden yellow wooden box and the bottle label was made of ostrich and numbered in the back. This is definitely a collector’s item, cheers to Veuve Clicquot!

Kaws x Kiehl’s Limited Edition Crème de Corps

Never saw this coming but collaborations are meant to surprise, one of my favorite skin care brand, Kiehl’s, has teamed up of my favorite New York-based artist, KAWS, to recreate their classic Creme de Corps labels. 100% of Kiehl’s net profits from the sale of Limited Edition Crème de Corps will Support RxART. The special edition with bottle caps will be available exclusively at colette for Europe by the end of the month, retailing for about US$77. 100% of the profits will be given to “Les Orphelins du Sida”.

The Crème de Corps is an amazing all-over body moisturizer, which I’m a fan of for extremely dry, or flaking skin. You can cop a bottle at www.kiehls.com for $77.00 (1L Pump), $44.50 (16.9 fl. oz.) and $26.50 (8.4 fl. oz.). A great holiday gift and I think I may need to get a bottle for keeps too!

Laura Laine for H&M Divided Art

For the latest H&M Divided Art collection, they’ve tapped fashion illustrator, Laura Laine, hailing from Helsinki to create two illustrations to be printed on T-shirts and tanks. The collection is currently available at H&M stores in Holland (may be others too) but I haven’t seen them in NYC yet. The illustrations are really pretty, I like. Thanks to reader lucy92 for the tip.

Fafi, the famous street artist has re-interpreted five styles of the adidas Originals footwear inspired by her Parisian dressing and trips around the globe. The graphics on the sneakers are from her next comic. Previously you’ve seen the Honey Mid and Stan Smith styles, now here’s a preview of the full collection.
