Did any of you guys go to the Central Park SummerStage “Mad Fools in the Park” Concert this past Sunday? I wasn’t planning to go because I knew it would of been chaos especially when it’s free. But the day before the concert I got hooked up by Arthur from Red Bull (thanks!) to be in a “special” section and no lines so there I was! I brought YM, Mark and April to come chill with me in the Red Bull Skybox and VIP area, unlimited supply of water and Red Bull but too bad they didn’t stock the Red Bull Cola I was a bit upset at that haha but can’t complain. Got free drinks, Fool’s Gold towel, Mishka tee and waterguns to play with. The skybox was dope, nice shade and breeze- dope chill area, but the VIP spot was the spot to be if you want to watch the concert up close but we all got sprayed by waterguns- that’s what you get for being front row haha. Santogold, A-Trak, Kid Cudi, Diplo, Blaqstarr and Mz Streamz were performing, my favorite was Santogold! I have video footage but haven’t had the chance to upload them so stay tuned for those. It was my first SummerStage concert, I had lots of fun despite the hot weather, the sun was blazing that day. But it’s all goods since I got to chill with a lot of my peeps! It was such a nice day yesterday I couldn’t stay in the office for lunch so I met up with B to grab a bite. As we were walking I’ve gotten so many comments about my Darkhorse “EAT MY PUCCI” tee I’ve lost count haha, I kinda expected it when I put it on in the morning but didn’t know it was that crazy. The best comment was, “What does your shirt say, EAT MY WHAT? PUCCI? I’m a professional PUCCI EATER!” OMG that was the funniest line I’ve heard in a long time, we were both cracking up the whole time, just thinking back cracks me up. Of course I told all my friends later and they all died too haha! I LUV THIS TEE, Andrew I suggest your next tee to say, “PROFESSIONAL PUCCI EATER” haha!

After work I met up with my buddy Mark and Aileen to watch the screening of Mamma Mia! (courtesy of Mark), the film version of the smash Broadway musical. When Aileen got there she messaged me and told me there was long line, I didn’t expect it to be too crazy. When I got there it was nuts, I didn’t think Mamma Mia! was that popular- lucky I never have to wait especially since I wasn’t too crazy about watching the movie in the first place but Aileen wanted to. The movie was surprisingly really good, it definitely pleased the crowd- a lot of people were clapping, singing and laughing. Meryl Streep plays Donna Sheridan, she’s very vibrant, young and energetic in the movie, an opposite of her role in The Devil Wears Prada (which I loved as well), she’s simply amazing! The musical was great very upbeat and posed an energetic vibe, the characters were charasmatic and funny. If you’re looking for something aside from the superhero, comic-book movies then this is movie will put a grin on your face. The movie is in theaters now!

Met up with my friend Helen from Redpanda Village for lunch yesterday to catch up and brought my dog Cookie to the vet also. When I walk my dogs or bring them out to the vet, I never like to bring too much stuff and also I always need to bring a shoulder bag or tote. The reason is my dog Cookie is like a wild horse, he pulls me so I’ll need as little things as possible haha. My arm is still aching haha!

Afterwards met up with B to watch the Tropic Thunder screening, courtesy of my buddy Mark Kwan, that’s right the movie is not in theaters till August 13th! I’ve been dying to see this movie ever since I’ve seen the posters awhile back, just seeing Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black was enough to get me to watch it, I don’t even need to know what’s it about. I got even more hyped after watching the skit they did on the MTV Movie Awards 2008, it was hilarious! But when I found out more about the movie, that my *crush* Robert Downey Jr. went through plastic surgery to change his features and pigmented his skin to appear black (in the movie for the movie) you know it’s gonna be funny haha. I’m not going to say too much but this movie is AMAZING, super duper funny and full of surprises, the whole theater couldn’t keep quiet haha- I normally never watch a movie twice at the theaters but this one I definitely can! It’s mamamammaaaaaaad funny, hahaha! MUST WATCH!!!

Went to the Jordan Brand Holiday 2008 Editor’s Preview today, not much women’s stuff but there was a dope black patent leather backpack that I was digging and the two pairs of Jordan 1 Retro High (Girls) colorways were nice too. As always, the good peeps at JB hooked up a gift, the Mars Blackmon Messenger/Laptop Bag for the guests. Stay tuned for updates.

After work Mark invited me and B to watch the screening of Hellboy II: The Golden Army. I went to the screening not knowing what the movie was about since I’ve never seen the first one and also not knowing a single thing about the comic book character neither but I like fantasy and comic book movies so I went. The movie was ok, there were a few scenes that were funny but the most interesting part is the director, Guillermo del Toro’s creatures. The anatomy of the creatures are super weird, funny looking, freakish, creepy and just bizarre but I thought they were very very imaginative. One cute but ferocious character was the “tooth fairies” don’t let the name fool you, they’ll devour you down to the bone- they feed on calcium (eek)! That’s as much as I’ll tell, the movie opens tomorrow, July 11, 2008.

After wearing these Marc Jacobs MJ212/S Sunglasses the other day I’ve gotten quite a few emails and comments asking me about them. They’re the same ones that Victoria Beckham was rockin’ in the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer ‘08 ad campaign that I thought resembled the Chanel 5018 Sunglasses I wanted to so badly. These MJ shades are so nice and the gradient is much more dramatic then the Chanel 5120 Sunglasses that I have, they’re super fab. The logo on the arms are pretty dope too, these are available in black, brown and tortoise (the one I have) and retail at $450. The only spot I’ve seen these available is at Solstice Sunglass Boutique and of course eBay. I heart these sunglasses, check out the detailed pics I took. Thanks to Whitney for the shades!

This past weekend I received a care package from my favorite boys in LA, Nick and Damien from Twelvebar! They sent over some Goodwood Polo Shirts in men’s size small, luv them ~ thanks! Didn’t do much today just went to adidas to pick up a pair of kicks for B!

That’s right now that I’m relieved from some stress, I can go out and have fun ~ yeah! Last night Mark invited me, YM and Rosena to Dave & Buster’s for a complimentary dinner (courtesy of Dave & Buster’s/Mark - thank you!) and some fun in games, restaurant review to come. Our server is the best, his name is Alex, he is so enthusiastic make sure you holla at him if you eat there ~ mention nitro:licious and may be he’ll hook you up haha! We played unlimited games b/c Mark was blessed with a VIP card haha, that’s status! Besides that I got some cute presents from him too, thanks for everything ~ it was fun!

On the side note, I LUV my new MM Couture by Miss Me top it’s so cute I luv the sleeves. And of course not to forget my new MJ sunglasses, they’re the one’s that I’ve been eying since I saw Posh posin’ in it for the MJ S/S ‘08 ad campaign ~ the gradiant is much more noticeable than my Chanels (ahh still lusting for the Chanel 5018)!
