On Wednesday news released that Michelle Trachtenberg linked up with Coach to design a jewelry collection under the Poppy line for spring 2010. No spring preview just yet but according to the Coach PR, her spring collection has a “refined-romantic feel, sorta Marie Antoinette meets Blondie”. She also did a small preview collection of bee motif pieces done up in emerald greens and cobalt blues for holiday, I’ve got the first look at the bee motif bracelet. The holiday collection retails for $78-$158 and will be available at Coach retail stores and www.coach.com starting December 1, 2009.

Looking cute, can’t wait to see the rest of the collection.

The Barber’s Daughters Jewelry by Alicia Keys

A preview of Alicia Keys’ The Barber’s Daughters Jewelry collection released this morning on WWD, she will introduce the collection along with jewelry designer Gisèle Theriault at a pop up shop at Collette Blanchard Gallery at 26 Clinton Street in NYC on Monday, November 23rd. The collection of sterling silver and gemstone pieces features poetry and prayers of Masaru Emoto, the author of “The Hidden Messages in Water” inscribed in them. “The inspiration of The Barber’s Daughters is to provide tools for people to connect to their intangible beauty and strength,” said Theriault. The line of necklaces retail from $85 to $2,500 and is also sold on thebarbersdaughters.com.

“I fell in love with the individuality of the pieces, but more than that, the words that were written on them really resonated with the songwriter in me,” said Keys. “I knew at that moment, for the first time, that through a whole other medium I would be able to spread inspiration and that’s what got me started.”

Do you like what you see? Hmm…
