Jimmy Choo for H&M NYC Launch Party [November 13]

The newly revamped H&M flagship store at 51st Street and 5th Avenue in NYC was transformed into a party scene for the launch of the highly anticipated Jimmy Choo for H&M collection. This past Friday, November 13th, we were invited to the VIP shopping party to get first dibs on the limited edition collection which launched in stores on Saturday, November 14th. The new space is amazing, super glam and fabulous, nearly 500 people were invited to the party and shopped till they dropped including Christian Siriano and Michelle Tractenberg. The shoe section was barricaded off and women were let in slowly (good idea), it was a frenzy in there. Spotted Michelle Tractenberg with her friends in the shoe section with two large shopping bags and deciding on what to get next. Women were trying on piles and piles of shoes, shoes were everywhere luckily the sales worked quickly to rearrange stuff and restocked. The first things to go were the Thigh High Boots and Studded Belts, those are my two favorite pieces from the collection. It was an amazing party and the best thing is that we got to shop early, no fuss except for the sold out stuff but picked up a couple of pieces! Happy! Did you get a piece of the collection?

Aldo Cassetty Over The Knee Boots

LA has been treating me well with the perfect weather, it’s sunny but not too hot. I’ve been wanting to wear my new Aldo “Cassetty” Over-The-Knee Boots out but it’s been a bit too chilly out in NYC to be wearing shorts. These boots are so comfy and the leather is so soft, it will def wear beautifully. The full-length side zipper with leather straps adds a flare to these boots, these are sexy and currently one of my favorite boots. Everyone has to have a pair of flat over-the-knee boots, these are affordable too ($170). I got asked many times about these boots when I wore them out the other day, people are just lovin’ them! Go get ‘em!

Jimmy Choos Project PEP for Elton John Foundation Launch Party
Me and Brian Henke, President of Jimmy Choo

Last Wednesday, Jimmy Choo and VOGUE hosted the launch party of the Project PEP to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation at the Jimmy Choo Madison Boutique in NYC. Got to check out the Project PEP collection in person, it was pretty cool and 25% of the net sales will go to the Simelela Rape Centre in South Africa. It was a fun launch party with popping music by Alexandra Richards.

Halloween 2009 | Gothic Vampire

Halloween was great this year, the rain passed and it wasn’t too cold out. This year I decided not to spend extra money to get a costume, so I whipped up something quite last minute from my closet. Since my friends wanted to be vampires, I decided to go with the Gothic Vampire look. I finally got to wear my COMME des GARCONS for H&M showpiece which I got last year, it’s been sitting in my closet lol. It was so perfect for my Gothic Vampire look, it was meant to be. Lanie did my makeup and I lent her my H&M clothes haha, even exchange. I’ve also gotten quite used to my vampire fangs, although talking was a bit difficult, my friends were all laughing at me when I was slurring. Fun times, loved being a vampire! How was your Halloween?

Carlos Falchi for Target Faux Snakeskin Satchel

Last Friday, I received this amazing Carlos Falchi for Target Large Faux-Snakeskin Satchel in black, signed by Carlos Falchi himself. I was kinda skeptical about getting any of the faux-snakeskin bags when it releases on Sunday, November 1st, but after seeing and feeling the bag in person I was surprised how good it looked. The bag does not look cheap at all, looks quite real too. The bags feature Falchi’s iconic collage techniques and python-inspired solid prints finished with intricate stitch detailing. For $49.99 you can’t go wrong, def going to be shopping online this Sunday for the Cross-Body Collage Bag. Check out the full collection preview here. Do you like the bags?
