Last night Diesel hosted a rave party to celebrate the launch of the Flash For Fun collection at Love with black lights, glow-in-the-dark makeup and a bunny passing out flashing accessories to enhance the party experience. It was crazy, I had lots of fun despite the sucky rainy weather out, luckily I didn’t have to wait in line to get in the club. Once I got in, I got my glow-in-the-dark false eyelashes on and went all out with the glow stick accessories. It was def the “glow-in-the-dark” tour at Love haha. More pics after the jump…
The weather has been really weird lately, it was pretty cold last week and now this week it’s warm. Not really sure how to dress nowadays, but last week while it was still cold out I had a chance to rock my new Nine West Vintage America Jurra Suede Wedge Bootie. I’ve been waiting for these to release since I saw it for pre-order, thanks to Nine West for hooking up a pair. These rugged suede lace up wedge bootie is super comfy and the wedge height is perfect at 4″. Love the casual look of these. Jurra is available in three colorways: dark natural (the one I have), black and dark green for $99 at NineWest.com, Zappos.com and Endless.com. More pics after the jump…
In its fourth year Heineken Red Star Soul continues to deliver on its foundation of “Music, Recognition and Respect” by showcasing the best talents in hip-hop and R&B. Taking place in 9 cities across the county, this past Friday the Heineken Red Star Soul returns to NYC where hip-hop all started with a private concert at Gotham Hall. The invite-only crowd drank unlimited Heinekens and enjoyed musical performances by Estelle, Wale, Ludacris along with special guest NAS. Guests that were in attendance include Q-TIP, Charlie Murphy, Consequence, Mario Lopez, Tyson Beckford, Adrienne Bailon and most surprisingly Emmy Rossum (lol). The performances were popping, everyone got super excited when Ludacris brought out NAS, but as usual NAS never remembers his lyrics lol. I got some video footage for Ludacris and NAS, peep them below and enjoy! More pics after the jump…
This season over-the-knee boots are a must have, if you haven’t gotten a pair cop it quick. Fall has arrived and it’s getting chilly out in NYC, today was the perfect weather to be rockin’ these new Jeffrey Campbell Carry over-the-knee boots, courtesy of Solestruck.com. Although these boots are faux leather it doesn’t look cheap at all. I love over-the-knee boots, it keeps you warm and are super sexy at the same time. These boots feature an all over criss-cross belt bandage wrap which reminds me of the Rodarte over-the-knee boots. But I must warn you if you have wide feet and thick calves, these boots are not for you because they’re pretty tight on both of those areas. It also required a tad bit of work to zip these babies up since there’s so many elastic straps the zipper is hard to pull up but after you get them up they’re pretty comfy. If you must have these boots, I suggest to go up a size. I have normal width feet so I got my actual size and didn’t have a problems getting into them. These are selling out fast but they’re currently available at Solestruck.com for $184.95. More pics after the jump…
This past Tuesday I attended the 16th Annual QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” cocktail event where Jessica Simpson, Real Housewives of NYC’s Kelly Bensimon, Royal Pain’s Reshma Shetty, Ugly Betty’s Mark Indelicato, Howard Stern’s wife and model Beth Ostrosky, designer Isaac Mizrahi and more came out for some shoe shopping. QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) joined forces for a charitable shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research and education. The sale (which went live on QVC), in honor of breast cancer awareness month offered shoes at half the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. In addition to the October 13th scheduled broadcast, shoppers may contribute to the cause by purchasing the “Shoe of the Day,” offered each weekday throughout the month of October on QVC from 7 AM to 9 AM (EST). A special collection of shoes will also be available online, at QVC.com throughout the month. In addition, Jessica Simpson, the 2009 QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” PSA Spokesperson, is unveiling her collection of shoes, accessories and handbags on QVC on October 19th, so be sure to check up on that. In case you were curious, un Tuesday night, Jessica wore a Dolce and Gabbana dress paired with her own Jessica Simpson shoes. Check out the event pictures after the jump… |
