I go gaga for Lady Gaga, it’s Hello Kitty’s 35th Anniversary and Lady Gaga celebrates in her own special way. Photographed by Markus Klinko and Indrani, Gaga is featured in all things Hello Kitty, the shots will also feature in the special limited-edition re-issue of Gaga’s hit album, The Fame, according to DailyMail. Gaga even gets her eyelids painted like Hello Kitty’s eyes for the shoot, love all the pics!

Stussy x Hello Kitty Collection

Yesterday we reported about the Hellz Bellz x Hello Kitty collaboration in the works, today we spotted this super cute Stussy x Hello Kitty collection over at Freshness. Hello Kitty is one lucky kitty, for her 35th birthday there’s a series of collaborations releasing to commemorate her special day. The Stussy collection featuring Hello Kitty is slated to drop on November 7th consisting of a range of graphic tees, hoodies, keychains and accessories, but the sad thing is it will only be available in Japan. Hello Kitty Art Show at Three Apples ExhibitionColin Christian

It’s Hello Kitty’s 35th Anniversary and SANRIO is celebrating in a big way, collaborating with 80 popular artists to celebrate. In addition to launching a variety of special, limited edition products, SANRIO will introduce Three Apples, a multi-dimensional exhibition and celebration of all things Hello Kitty running from October 23 to November 15 at Royal/T in Culver City, CA. Royal/T is the visually stunning and playful, 10,000 square foot Japanese-inspired art exhibition space, retail store and “cosplay” maid café, located within the city’s vibrant arts community.

Three Apples, named as a nod to Hello Kitty’s weight as listed in her official bio – features an unprecedented lineup of over 80 celebrated artists, who’ve been invited to interpret their creative vision of Hello Kitty in unique, original works that will be on display and for sale. The art exhibition at Three Apples will be curated by Jamie Rivadeneira, owner of JapanLA, a Los Angeles boutique that specializes in “cute” Japanese and American products. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the artwork will benefit L.A. Works, a volunteer action center that creates and implements hands-on community service projects throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

Some of the featured artists include: Amada Visell, Colin Christian, Buff Monster, Frank Kozik, Friends With You (FWY), Gary Baseman, Huck Gee, Luke Chueh, Natalia Fabia, Ron English, Simone Legno and Tara McPherson.

This is the first time that SANRIO has produced an event for the Hello Kitty fans in North America. The exhibition as well as all events will be open to the public, free of charge and will offer something for all Hello Kitty fans, no matter their age. Limited edition prints of selected artwork will released at special events during Three Apples.

Snoopy x Japan Fashion Week
Photography: Yukie Kasuga

Can we all say, “Awwww, kawaii!”, seems like all the toys are getting more love than us humans lol. Snoopy turns 60 next year and Japan Fashion week has already started celebrating for him with a special exhibition at Tokyo Midtown, the fashion week’s official venue. Fashion brands that we all covet like Hermes, Chloe, Chanel, Balenciaga and G.V.G.V. all created miniature looks for Snoopy and his female companion. Love all the looks, wish I can get a collection to display at home! via WWD
