chai wan ferry pier

Shot these photos the last week of my stay in Hong Kong, that day I met up with some friends and headed to Chai Wan for a visit. There’s not much around there since it’s mostly industrial but I did find pass by this awesome empty Ferry Pier. Just so happens that it was a bit misty that day, the effect was actually pretty nice. Checked out the Undercover store there and then headed back out to Wan Chai for a drink at Star Street. I seriously miss HK but my friends are telling it’s super hot and humid right now, that’s one thing I don’t miss ha…

Chicago 2013 Photo Diary

A few weeks ago I was in Chicago for Sneaker Con and it’s been about a year since my last visit. Previously you’ve read about the 3 restaurants I’ve recommended in Chicago, now here’s some photos from my trip. Didn’t do much in Chicago, it was really cold that weekend. Did some shopping but didn’t get anything and to be honest, there wasn’t much to do there. Perhaps if there’s any Chicago readers on this blog, let me know what’s good to do there and I’ll be sure to check it out next time.

3 Restaurants to try in Chicago

A lot of readers asked me to bring back restaurant recommendations, so this is for you guys! A few weeks ago I was in Chicago for a few days and before I went my friend Christine sent me a list of restaurants to try out. I tried 3 from the list and I was not disappointed, really really good! And so I want to introduce these 3 restaurants: Girl & the Goat, Oiistar and Sunda, be sure to make reservations for these spots! So yummy!

hong kong disneyland

While I was in Hong Kong I went to Disneyland. To get to Disneyland there’s a few ways but I chose to take the MTR Disneyland Resort Line, a special train that is decked out in Mickey Mouse icons that takes you straight to Sunny Bay. Super cute right?

Out of all the days I chose to go, that day rained the heaviest! I had no idea since the last two weeks I was in HK, the weather was projected to be scattered thunderstorms everyday and usually it doesn’t rain for that long. Just my luck that day, after 2 hours at Disneyland, it started pouring and wouldn’t stop, so I had to leave. The park is pretty small but since it was raining so hard, most of the park was closed, definitely want to check it out again the next time I’m in HK!

roaming the streets of hong kong island...

It was one of those days in Hong Kong where I walked around everywhere and found interesting spots to take photos. There’s still a lot of places in HK that I haven’t been to yet and I’m hoping my next trip I can hit up new territories. These spots that I took photos at were all on the Hong Kong Island: Causeway Bay, Central and Sheung Wan. More to come from Hong Kong, ahhh I miss that place so much…
