My last stop on Wednesday (November 19th) was to the Reebok “Flash” Pop-Up Store opening party. I caught the last 30 mins of the event, but was kinda upset I didn’t come earlier because I missed the Gossip Girls, Taylor Momsen and Michelle Trachtenberg- oh wells! I would think they’d ask Leighton Meester to be there since she’s going to be the face of the brand, may be she was busy? The store is pretty dope, looks of great Freestyles available for the ladies including the Reebok Freestyle - Style Cities - NYC pair that I have. Def swing by if you haven’t, I’m going to check out the store again too, it was too hard to look at the kicks with the peeps in the way ha! The pop-up store will be open till December 14th!

A bit out of sequence but before hittin’ up the Playmakers Part II Event at NikeTown on Wednesday (November 19th) I stopped by the CLINIQUE event for cocktails, yummy hors d’oeuvres (obsessed with the scallop+bacon), preview of their mascara portfolio and their newest lash launch. While I was at it, Tamara (CLINIQUE makeup artist) did my makeup since I don’t know how to myself haha! Tamara asked what kinda look I was trying to achieve, since I never tried the smokey eyes I told her I want a not so dramatic smokey eyes look haha. She used their new mascara (more on that later), eyeliner, lipgloss and new blush (no foundation or powder was used- I’m not a fan of those). I can’t reveal too much yet since the new lash collection doesn’t release till February 2009 so stay tuned! I love it already!

A lil behind on my event posts been going out just a lil too much, Wednesday (November 19th) was a full packed agenda- one of my stops was to NikeTown for the Playmakers Part II Event. The event was super packed since it was a public event but there were good music because JUST BLAZE was djing, open bar and yummy stadium food! Fun times!

Cream of the Crop, the scratch ‘n sniff women’s streetwear brand introduces its Holiday collection and a preview of what’s to come in spring. The collections consists of three capsules of tees: Holidazed (Holiday 2008), 15 Minutes (Spring 2009) and their signature Cream (Spring 2009). New scents have been introduced in this new collection, mint, cinnamon, caramel popcorn, soap and sunflower- the scent lasts for about ten washes. Def some cute pieces, my picks are the Cream x No Kiddin! and Cream Hill Gang tees!

The collection is available at Charlotte Ronson (NY & Japan), Lane Crawford (China) and Shop (NY).

Rumors have been circulating the blogs about the MAC Cosmetics and Hello Kitty collaboration for a min already, finally the news was confirmed. The limited edition collection will be available at MAC’s website on February 10, 2009 and in MAC US stores on February 12, 2009 (just in time for Valentine’s Day too!) and overseas stores in March 2009- mark your calendars ladies this collection is going to fly off the counters! Not only did they create a range of cosmetics, there’s also a line of accessories: a Petite Makeup Bag ($22), a medium Makeup Bag ($35), a plush doll ($42), purse mirror ($22), three-brush collection ($49.50), a mirrored key clip ($16), beaded bracelet ($34), a tote ($45) and soft vanity kit ($55).

The Hello Kitty collection consists of two collections: the Hello Kitty Colour Collection and the more high-end Hello Kitty Kouture. The Hello Kitty Colour Collection includes “six shades of lipstick with names like Fashion Mews and Strayin’, each $14; six Lipglass shades, each $14; and two tinted lip conditioners, $14.50 each; two eye shadow palettes, which each contain four shades and retail for $38; two shades of pigment are $19.50 each, and two Reflects Glitter stockkeeping units — one blue, one pink — are $17.50 each. Four Glitter Eye Liners, each $16.50, two shades of Beauty Powder, each $22; three shades of nail polish, each $11; a black mascara, $12, and false lashes, $12, round out the color offerings. Shades range from pinks and turquoises to lavenders and greens.”

The Hello Kitty Kouture collection is more of a high-end line and great for collectors as well. The range consists of “two shades of Dazzleglass, each $28, each feature a reusable silver chain pendant with Hello Kitty outlined in white Swarovski crystals on black with a pink crystal bow. Sheer Mystery Powder, $90 and available in three shades, is packaged in a silver powder compact with Hello Kitty outlined in white Swarovski crystals with a pink crystal bow on a black background.”

While the 34-year-old Hello Kitty character is usually assumed to be a cat, she is actually a girl, according to Sanrio. And a girl without a mouth, so she “speaks from the heart,” the company said. “She may not have a mouth, but she’s going to sell a lot of lipstick,” cracked Demsey, noting that a waiting list for the items will go live on Jan. 7 at maccosmetics.com.

I can’t wait, I previewed the collection on November 19th and I am in love with the full collection! Stay tuned…

Met up with my favorite ladies from adidas, Kristen and Lyn for yoga, dinner and desserts last Tuesday (November 11th). It’s what…my 3rd time doing yoga, I seriously need to get in the mode and start doing it at least twice a week- soon I promise haha! They took me to Jivamukti Yoga School, the class was very different from the others I’ve tried- not exactly sure I’m loving it but it was a great experience. I was kinda puzzled when the teacher started telling a story from her email, but later I learned they do that in the beginning of all their classes. I worked out in style, rocked some adidas by Stella McCartney yoga and workout gear. They’re definitely more than just nice products they actually function very well, especially the Studio Three-Quarter Tights because of their ClimaLite fabric technology that sweeps sweat away from your skin. I wore the Yoga Embellished Tee, Studio Three-Quarter Tights and used the Yoga Mat, fun! After yoga, I put on my Cover Up Studio Polar Fleece (pictured) since the temperature dropped since I went out- it got pretty chilly at night. I was starving by the time we got out so we went to Haru for dinner- I love gurls night out! Thanks guys!

Target has just announced two new accessories brands for collaborations, according to WWD Felix Rey designers Lily Band and Sulaika Zarrouk will launch a limited edition handbag collection called Felix Rey for the retailer on March 29th to June 14th. It is the seventh handbag launch in a series of limited-time-only accessories designers at Target. The second collaboration will be a limited edition shoe collection by footwear designer Trish Carroll called Miss Trish of Capri for Target. The line will be available at select Target stores nationwide and on target.com from April 5th to June 14th.
