After seeing the Marni at H&M lookbook and collection in person at the launch party in LA I’m even more in love with the collection. The collection is sooooo good, definitely want all of it…even the men’s pieces! Here’s a look at ALL the pieces in the collection for both men and women including prices in US$. Start making your wishlist, the collection will be available from March 8, 2012 in around 260 H&M stores worldwide and online (where available). Do you love it? When I received the invitation from Sofia Coppola, Consuelo Castiglioni and Margareta van den Bosch for the Marni at H&M private dinner party in Los Angeles I was ecstatic! On Friday night, the launch party came to fruition at the beautiful Lloyd Wright’s Sowden House, I was mesmerized from the first look. The mansion was recreated to mimic Sofia Coppola’s commercial for the collaboration that was filmed in Marrakesh. Everywhere I walked was a distraction, from the beautiful collection on celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Winona Ryder, Milla Jovovich, Freida Pinto, Imogen Poots, Lou Dillon to the perfect setting filled with pillows, candles, yummy food and broccoli-like trees in the background. Bryan Ferry performed for us, ending the night in “Avalon” which was the featured song in the commercial. Oh and Mel Gibson showed up to the party too, cray! It was definitely a magical night, so glad to be part of it! I love the collection, can’t wait to get my hands on it! Many thanks to YM for taking the photos for me! For those of you that follow me on Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram (you can follow me on @nitro_licious) should already know that I’m in LA for the Marni at H&M launch event! I’m super excited to be invited by H&M to attend the party and also be part of the grand jury for their “What Inspires You” Instagram Challenge! If you would like to enter, simply (1) take a photo of something that inspires you, (2) upload the photo to Instagram and include the hashtag #MarniatHM, (3) get your friends to vote for your photo. If your photo is one of the top five most voted for in the contest, you could be selected as the grand prize winner by the Grand Jury! Last night you’ve got a sneak peek of the Marni at H&M ad campaign featuring Imogen Poots and some magazine scans, now here’s a look at the commercial and behind-the-scenes video. As I reported before the campaign film was directed by Sofia Coppola in Marrakesh, in these video watch the commercial and you follow her and H&M along with the models behind-the-scenes during the production. Models and actors include: Imogen Poots, Sam Hayes, Antonine Peduzzi, Nicolas Peduzzi, Annabelle Dexter Jones, Charlie Klarsfeld , Liu Wen, Jonatan Frenck and Langley Fox. Looks like fun, love it! The collection is looking good, can’t wait to see the full collection! Marni at H&M is scheduled to release in selected H&M stores and online (where available) on March 8th, except in Japan and Singapore where the collection launch is scheduled for March 10th, 2012.
Next month H&M will be launching its newest collaboration with Marni, I simply can’t wait! Every time I visit LA, I always find time to visit my friends at the H&M Showroom and also to check out the new collections. The LA showroom is pretty amazing, spacious and has an amazing view, I can seriously work out of that location ha! Last month I visited Kendall at the showroom and previewed some new Spring 2012 samples and I’m seriously loving all the sorbet and neon colors, makes me so happy! And of course there’s the basic black and white pieces that I love too. Now I can’t wait till Spring! > H&M Spring 2012 Women’s Lookbook |
