Two weekends ago I attended a friend’s wedding at a beautiful ranch tucked away in the canyons of a small city between Temecula and San Diego. The estate where the wedding was held was filled with, American antiques, livestock, and Native American art. I’m fully inspired to have a vacation home like this where I can run away from the city and enjoy nature. It’s what I miss living in LA! Needless to say, my girls and I took full advantage of the amazing photo-ops we had around us so we snapped some “Vanity Fair-esque” (HA!) shots. Too bad my camera died (FAIL) mid-way so I only got to snap a few! Congratulations to Pinky and Daryl. <3
I’m in the eye of the eyewear season storm so alot of travelling is required. Basically I have no personal life from February – August in my business but at least I get to travel to cities I love. This month I started off with doing back to back trips to Florida and New York.
Last week was a different week from the norm of traveling to metropolitan cities or putting in work at the office. The MT crew and our friends at The Social Trust packed up and headed for the island of Kauai for the 2011 campaign shoot for Mosley Tribes. Kauai is a small Hawaii island farthest west of all the other main islands. The remote island with minimal tourism was truly a visually mind blowing experience not crowded by big money franchise resorts and shopping. Instead the crew shacked up like family in a plantation house off the water and explored the sites less captured by your average vacationers. It’s not everyday you get to embrace nature like that living in LA so I took every moment in.
