Just spotted on Style.com’s Twitter that MAC Cosmetics is bringing press on nails back this summer! Releasing in June, this teaser looks sooo good already! Can’t wait to see the full collection! Are you excited?
In conjunction with Tom Sach’s new show at the Park Avenue Armory – SPACE PROGRAM: MARS, Nike and Tom Sachs present Tom Sachs: NIKECRAFT. The inspiration for the Tom Sachs: NIKECRAFT Collection is space travel featuring The Mars Yard Shoe, the Trench, The Marsfly Jacket, and the Lightweight Tote. “Nike design and Sachs applied materials that have never been used in sportswear, taken from automotive air bags, mainsails for boats and the space suit itself. Each piece is packed with functionality that would prove useful in the voyage through space. Zipper pulls that double as storage containers, paracord that can be fashioned as a tourniquet and embellishments like the periodic table of elements screened on the inside of a jacket – they all merge visual interest with purpose.” Pretty interesting! Tom Sachs’ SPACE PROGRAM: MARS opens on May 16th at the Park Avenue Armory, where there will be a pop-up shop celebrating and selling the artisanal capsule collection.
For those of you that still can’t get a hold of a pair of the Isabel Marant sneakers and weren’t quick enough to order a pair of the Lemarè Wedge High Top Sneakers (an alternative to the Isabel Marant Willow High Top Sneakers) I posted about last month, Luisaviaroma.com restocked along with new colorways. Some of you guys emailed and asked about the comfort of Lemarè sneakers, I personally don’t own a pair so I really don’t know. But I can say that the Isabel Marant sneakers are really comfy, so I assume they’re pretty similar? Did any of you guys buy a pair? Just got the new Club Monaco Fall 1 2012 Lookbook and loving all the tailored pieces. The collection was inspired from Linda McCartney’s Life in Photographs, Sonia Delaunay’s masterful block prints and the leading men of the Silent Generation. Earlier you’ve seen the new H&M men’s fall 2012 lookbook, now here’s a look at the women’s lookbook! How amazing does it look? LOVE as always! The styling of the looks are getting better and better, seriously want everything! For fall, H&M is all about “minimal meets maximal” featuring sculptural silhouettes and bold shapes. Lots of textures and packing on all the costume jewelry to help maximize minimal outfits.
