Previously you’ve seen a preview of the Tucker by Gaby Basora for Target collection that was available for pre-sale on Gilt, finally the official lookbook is available. I’ve previewed the collection at the Target press preview a few months ago and it’s pretty cute, there are def pieces I want to pick up when it releases.
The collection of women’s apparel, including tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear and knitwear, prices range from $19.99 to $79.99. Available from September 12, 2010 through October 17, 2010 at Target stores and target.com. If you can’t wait for the release, looks like some of the Gilt customers put up their goods for sale on eBay already, check below for listings. (L) Hooded Wrap Jacket in Orange Herringbone, $44.99; Tunic Sweater in Brown Stripe, $44.99; Ribbed Sweater Dress in Orange, $39.99 Do you like?
Back in July you’ve got a sneak peek of Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2011 collection, here’s a closer look at the teddy bears sneaker. The Snuggle-like teddy bear with arms on the sneaker is so cute, I saw them in person when I was in Vegas and totally loved them. The bears actually look bigger in person than in pictures, I was a bit surprised but still cute but may be over-the-top for most people. Some even say it looks scary but I hope I’ll be able to get my hands on a pair. The brown pair will be available for men. These are slated to release in February if I didn’t remember wrong. Would you rock these?
Pretty excited to hear that Jones Apparel Group Inc. signed a license with Brian Atwood to manufacture, market and distribute a contemporary brand named B Brian Atwood. Now we can all get affordable Brian Atwood shoes for about $200 to $500 compared to $525 to $2,900. According to WWD, B Brian Atwood is scheduled to launch for fall 2011 with shoes, followed by jewelry and handbags the year after, and sportswear and sunglasses in subsequent seasons. The collection will be targeted to women at their twenty- and thirtysomethings and Atwood noted, “The cool, East Village girls who have great style are kind of a muse.” Can’t wait to see the collection!
Yesterday we were still speculating if the Lanvin for H&M rumor was true or not, guess no more H&M has confirmed that its next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin!! The collection will be designed by Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz, and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, and is slated to go on sale on November 23 in around 200 H&M stores worldwide. Mark your calendars and start saving up! According to H&M, the collection of both womenswear and menswear will be revealed on November 2, just three weeks before the clothes hit the store. Hopefully we’ll get some leaks here and there ha! Seriously dying right now, might not be able to sleep haha! Are you excited?
If you were one of the lucky Gilt shoppers that got to snatch up a Mulberry for Target bag before the official release date, lucky you! If not, no worries because you’ll have your chance on October 10th at Target stores and target.com. Reader lucy92 just sent over a new pic of a pink leopard print bag belonging to the collection shot from the new issue of Glamour Magazine, I can’t really tell what kind of material it is but looks kinda like PVC to me. I’m not sure how I feel about the bags until I see them in person, faux leather bags can be tricky. You can get a preview of the some of the bags from the collection here. Stay tuned for more pics forthcoming…
The reopening of the Chanel boutique in SoHo is on September 10th, just in time for Fashion’s Night Out, to celebrate the reopening, Chanel Global Creative Director of Makeup Peter Philips has created a limited edition collection that echoes the spirit of SoHo. “For me, SoHo is a place where Bohemian ideals meet the toughness of the city… I love the tension and energy this creates.” says Peter Philips.

OMG, just spotted these super amazing Keith Haring by Nicholas Kirkwood shoes on Style File, so DOPE (*changed my word, people were seriously getting too worked up on ONE word*)! The collection consists of 12 footwear styles slated to release in February 2011. How sick are the designs? Love the first 4 pairs already, especially the peep-toe pumps with the baby heel!! Can’t wait to see the full collection, hopefully the prices will not be too extreme (who am I kidding?).
On a side note, Nicholas Kirkwood will be launching a 8-day pop-up shop online featuring his collaborations for pre-sale with Rodarte, Erdem and Peter Pilotto will be available for pre-sale. Oh boy, gotta start saving up! |
