I’ve been waiting for the Louis Vuitton show to see how their new bags looked like, now that I’ve seen it…I’m really excited. Denim bags is making a come back in LV! This time patchwork denim, how cute is that…and my favorite color, BLUE! Did you see the “red, white, blue” bags (if you’re Chinese, you know what I’m talking about ahah – translate that in Chinese), those bags go for like $1 or $2 in Chinatown. Those bags are called “Hong Bak Lam” Bags? (well, if it’s canto at least….) Never knew that. I only know that those chinese bootlegers are gonna have a field day. Imagine old women going shopping for veggies and groceries in huge fake Vuitton “hong bak lam” bags…. priceless!
I don’t get it, what’s MJ going for the theme of this season’s LV products? let’s put aside the “Hong Bak Lam” Bags, which we all agree is ridiculous, the patches, the buttons? so hoboish. and what’s with the chains, i thought it’s a Chanel thing……I can’t tell what’s on those LV traditional monogram bags? like Chinese Imperial prints? like the dragons and phoenix? Is MJ trying to trash chinese culture???????
