The Scene
Cuba is located on a historic street in the Greenwich Village, reminiscent of many streets in Old Havana. It exudes the aroma and flavor of an authentic Cuban restaurant. The romantic milieu of Cuba effortlessly transports you from Manhattan to Havana. The rhythmic palpitations of salsa, son Cubano and the extraordinary sense of exotic dishes, permeate the air. Palms, wooden shutters, wrought iron light fixtures and photographs of “Havana” gives one the sense of being there. Cuba offers live music Thursday through Saturday. The menu is filled with delicious, traditional cuisine. With New York City’s only authentic Cuban chef, the restaurant offers exquisite Cuban, Latin and Spanish dishes and the signature drinks, Mojito and Sangria are a must. New Yorkers have fallen in love with Latin food, music and culture. Cuba has them all under one roof. – Citysearch

My last B’Day dinner of the year, ended with my LiL Fusion treating to Cuba. It was pouring out that day and the place was difficult to find. The restaurant is pretty small and the live music is way too loud, we had to scream at each other to talk. The food was ok only, nuttin’ to too special about it. I didn’t like my dish too much, I had the Arroz Con Pollo Criollo, I practically just picked on it. The funny thing is that I rememeber the croquettes, I cooked them when I was playing Cooking Mama on my DS hahah! Peep the meal after the jump…
