Last Weds, I was invited to attend the Roca Wear x Cherry Coke event where five artists reinterpret the brand’s graphics in different mediums. Coca-Cola had Roca Wear’s design team redesign the Cherry Coke and Cherry Coke Zero cans, the can is very nice, too bad they didn’t have any at the party I woulda took one as a souvenier. It was great seeing Dave White there along with Chris and her sis Angela, Dave’s painting was amazing as usual. The other participating artists were sculptor Charlie Becker, animator Kid America Club, digital illustrator Nigel Dennis and photographer Shareif Ziyadat. The animated video by Kid America Club was hilarious, I must of stood there and watched it 10 times haha, I hope it’ll be on YouTube soon. Tons of celebs came thru, just to name a few, Jay-Z, Diddy, Kimberly Stewart, Cassie, Fabolous, Nick Cannon, and many more. I had a fun night catching up with my peepz even though I didn’t talk much cuz of my pain haha.
