Reebok celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the women’s footwear collections, the Freestyle, “Then and Now”…Freestyle Forever. Freestyle is a women’s athletic shoe style that was introduced back in 1982, it was designed for the use of aerobic exercise. The shoe quickly became a fitness craze and spreaded to walking, bodybuilding, dancing and cheerleading, but women are also wearing it outside the gym for casual wear. It is an iconic shoe in the 1980s and to this day it is still released in a variety of colors with many followers. Not only do women wear it, but I also see men wear these, I still remember seeing women pair these with skinny jeans, tights, leggings and leg warmers! And in the 90s girls that own Freestyles had every colorway to match their polos. Do any of you guys own a pair? Event Date: March 1, 2007 @ 8pm – 12am Hosted by Downtown Julie Brown, featuring DJ Spinderella…see you there!
