The Scene
A sister restaurant to the Vietnamese restaurant to Thai Son on Baxter St, they have the same interior design and menu. The food is just as good and very close by to Grand St Station so this place gets packed!
The food is very good, basically if you like Thai Son you’ll like Nam Son. I eat Viet food very often a few times a month at least, luv the Spring rolls and my Pork Chop over Rice. Its a very convenient location, its a good spot for a quick lunch. Peep the lunch after the jump…

Vietnamese Spring Rolls – must have everytime I eat at Viet joint

Pork Chop over Rice – my favorite dish

Xe Lua (Combination Extra Big Bowl) rice noodles, beef soup, six difference brisket, navel, frank omosa tendon & eye of round

Curry Chicken – didn’t like it b/c they used white meat chicken i like my curry chicken with boned chicken

try the lemongrass squid…sooooooo goood. i personally prefer thai son because of their grilled chicken. nam son for some reason doesn’t have grilled chicken.i’ll be in ny in a few weeks….i’d love to join you for one of your eating excursions.
