Vanessa and Angela Simmons the daughters of Rev. Run launched a new line of footwear under the branch of Run Athletics called Pastry Footwear. The initial line, The Cake Collection debuted on March 25th, I’ve seen the shoes at Magic last February they are colorful and has tasty names like Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Shortcake, Red Velvet and Sprinkles. Each shoe will have a tube of lipgloss attached to it, with its scent/color coordinated to the shoe’s theme. The footwear will be packaged in boxes bound with satin ribbon, ala a pastry purchase. If you’re a fan of their MTV reality series, the new season premiere of “Run’s House” is on Monday, April 9th…tune in because you will witness the birth of Pastry Kicks and you’ll see Vanessa and Angela demonstrate their baking skills. i was surprised when i first saw their AD for the kikz in my Seventeen mag….but i honestly dont think they r even cute (the kikz) Sounds pretty cute that it comes wit lipgloss n comes wit a satin ribbon or w.e but i honestly dont see these kicks blowin up….
i do watch their show when i catch it flippin channels n its pretty cool, but nah..not feelin their new line. :/

I love, love, love the show and the sneakers are now like and added cute bonus. They are so cute. I’m trying to find out where I can buy some for me and all 8 of my nieces. I will definately support the sneaker and will tell everybody that hasn’t heard about them also.

My daughter who is nine and myself love this new line. I saw the birth of pastry on Run’s House last week. I want to support it. I also am a huge fan of the concept. Although I wear them to work out, I rarely buy sneakers. Infact I only purchased one pair for myself in the past five years. I am 32. I plan to buy a pair for myself and my daughter from each edition.
May I suggest a low-carb pastry edition, a sneaker with the back out for us Southerns, that would be cool.

Your parents should be very, very proud of you. Being the daughters of a legend, the famous RUN of RUN DMC is a great honor. Your dad, and uncle for that, have made such a name for themselves. They are truely respected and loved by all who know them. With that said i just want to Congratulate the both of you on a job well done. The two of you are a positive icon to the younger generation. With all that you hear, and see about children of celebrity it is finally nice to see two that are trying to do something, and make a name for themselves. I love the show my whole family loves the show. We have it programed on our DVR so that we don’t miss an episode. We were all sad when we had to wait how much months for the new season to begin. As for the sneakers, they are somkin. Somebody call the fire department because they are on fire. God Bless the two of you, you are truely talented.

Hi my name is Dawn Hall. Im 14 and I live in Chicago,Ill….i really love you guys shoes, I have the SPRINKLES. It is really only one mall that sell you guys shoes and I went there and thats were I got mine. You guys said that the box was suppose to have a ribbon, smell like the shoe and lip gloss. I never recieved any of it when I purchased my shoes. When i got my first pair the shoes didnt have any of that, and the lady aid that they were suppose to send it next month. We went back next month and they still didnt have it. So i was wondering were you all going to be sending it anytime soon because I do want to go back and get another pair. i LOVE the shoes. I just bought a pair of th Strawberry Short Cakes. I want the yellow ones they have and I want…basically I want them all. Hi Girls, I love you and your family. you all are so close and lovely. most important intelligent. I love the pastry footwear line, I just think for the price of the sneakers, the leather on the sneakers could be a better quality. The reason I said that is because there to light to wear in the winter. The make of the sneaker is more for the summertime because the material is so thin. I would like to wear them all year round ladies. so I think if you fix that little problem your customers will be very happy and purchase of your footwear will expand. The styles are perfect for that coorful girl like myself, so I will be purchasing a few of your lovely pastrys. Family keep up the wonderful work. The show is great in every aspect of life. I really like my pasty shoes, I begged my brother to get them for me and he did, I wore the shoes three times and the gold color is coming off, so my mom took it back to the store and they would not exchange the shoe. I have NEVER read or heard anything about the “ribbon” (it’s suppoed to be tied around the shoe box when you buy them) smelling like the shoe, I know about the lip gloss, smelling and tasting like the shoe, but not ribbon smelling like it. I love the shoes I have the Black Sprinkles and the White Chocolate Chip, can’t wait to get the new Marshmellow boots they have! I just love them, they’re cute and comfy, everyone is always asking me about them, we don’t have any stores around here so I get them online, the boxes are so cute!

I can’t believe I just read someones post about Vanessa being ugly and “talking like a white girl” race doesn’t matter anymore, and how can you “talk like a white girl” anyways?? WOW that was just the dumbest and most ignorant comment I’ve read! Pretty sure they’re are more like that, haters and what not, people saying they love you, but you need to “find yo colorrrrrr!” WHAT EVER! How about you embrace their shoe line, the show, the athletic wear, instead of worrying about how the ADULT talks, she doesn’t talk like a child, she talks like and adult.. really is that such a big deal? I am a 22 year old mother and I have to buy new shoes for my daughter like every 3 months because she grows so fast. I actually bought the shoes for my 3 year od daughter and everyone loves them. She loves them and wants to wear them everyday. I think that you lady’s have done a great thing and God has blessed you. FANTASTIC ( maybe House shoes would be cool and affordable)
