Penelope and sister, Monica Cruz will be designing a 25-piece collection including accessories for Mango. They will also be the new faces of the Fall/Winter 2007 ad campaign. The line will be larger than the one Jovovich-Hawk did for Mango for Spring/Summer which consists of only 10 pieces, the ads will be shot next month by Spanish photographer Nico Bustos. This is Penelope’s first shot at designing clothes and she joins a celebrity lineup that includes Madonna, who did a collection for H&M and Kate Moss, who did a label for Topshop. Her sister, Monica on the other hand, already designed a collection of jewelry and handbags for the Japanese brand, Samantha Thavasa. We’ll see what they “actually” come up with, or perhaps they can pull a Kate Moss and take stuff out of their closets for “inspiration”…I like Mango so hopefully this will be better than the one Jovovich-Hawk did for them…via wwd  2 Responses to “Penelope & Monica Cruz for Mango”COMMENTS PAGE: |

I’m soo excited!! Mango has awesone dresses for the spring and summer time as it is!! And now someone that lives wearing the art they create is gonna design new pieces with them. As sisters it’s an awesome project, they can’t lie to eachother, Plus!! Who else to be honest with you if what you’re doing is a disaster or a picasso?
Monica is twice as fine as Penolope.
