Release Date: May 18, 2007 After the 3.1 phillip lim capsule collection, next up for the UNIQLO Designers Invitation Project is G.V.G.V. a designer from Tokyo. On the website it says the collection will release on May 18th, but that date seems to be accurate for Japan only. After several delays for the Lutz & Patmos, Alice Roi and 3.1 phillip lim collections we probably won’t see G.V.G.V. in stores till June. I’ve heard that the 3.1 phillip lim collection will drop on May 22nd at the NYC Flagship store, but don’t quote me on this…but I sure hope so tho, I can’t wait to get my hands on his pieces. If I was seeing the G.V.G.V. for UNIQLO capsule collection for the first time on these models, it would def not convince me to buy them, the preview pictures on the other models were much more flattering. I’m not sure why they chose these models, but I hope they will change them. The collection is quite nice, I am def anxious about this too…great pieces for work! Peep the collection after the jump…

the shirts from tanaka and plokhov looks great, esp the pin strip one from plokhov!
i am staking out the uniqlo shop in london when that is available!
please post the dates you expect them to arrive in NYC. i should expect the same dates for London then!
