I had to stop by Soho today to look for a present with B and my bro for his gf and passed by Anya Hindmarch. Didn’t notice the posters yesterday since it was raining and everyone was standing there blocking. But today it was super sunny and nice out…just had to take a pic outside of the store haha. I wonder how crazy the line will be on June 20th, anyone going to be there? Don’t expect to see me there b/c I got mine already…and its a work day! Is it really impossible to get one bag of A.Hindmarch???Do you go the any store for the bag the launch day? I´m ready to pay more for the bag but I don´t want to buy from ebay. Yours sincere/Sanna from Sweden (like you, with parents from Hong Kong).

i got my bag today!!!!! i went to the soho location i stood in line for 2 1/2 hrs but it was worth it

yea I was able to buy…
it was really inefficient though, the line was not moving quickly once the store opened at all!

the scene at Ron Herman in Costa Mesa, CA. was a joke. they spent the whole morning filling all their pre-orders and after telling customers to queue up at 3pm, did not sell a SINGLE BAG. they said they were shipped less than 100 bags. it was a huge disappointment. i’ve been living green for a while and i believe Anya Hindmarch should just make this bag available to everyone, unlimited, so that the original intent can be fulfilled. the exclusivity misses the point.

melly ~ that SUCKS! my friend actually pre-ordered from ron herman and even paid through the phone but before the release they called her again and said they have to cancel the orders b/c they only received 100 bags! that is suck BSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

hey retrogurl~i feel terrible for your friend! i was unable to pre-order and was upset about THAT but imagine thinking you were cool and then getting that call! seriously sucks. Anya Hindmarch was on the Today Show this morning and i was thinking i don’t know why you’re promoting this bag becasue NO ONE can freaking get one anyway!!! well, except on ebay, but you get my point…grrrrrrrrr. best of luck to you East Coast girls when it launches at Whole Foods in July! by the way, your blog is the best on the web. fresh and fun. keep rocking the great work.

girl, after all that, i still did not get a bag. sad melly. wanna sell your second one? HAHA! i guess ebay is my only option. do you think i should ebay? there’s a ton listed for $120. i guess it’s just how bad do you want it right? i’m torn. what to do???

melly ~ i don’t have a 2nd one, my man got it for me from his friend that pre-ordered! if you really really want it, eBay is your best bet. i’m not sure how long the hype will last, so $120 may seem like a good deal at the moment, since some went for over $300!

well retrogurl, i bit the bullet and ordered my bag off eBay. ordinarily i’m such a purist so i’m still kind of hating that i did it but i’ve been chasing this bag since the first launch, so i need to just get over it and just enjoy the bag. have a bitchen weekend!

hey rg~i don’t mind at all…it was $135. there were many auctions but i’m a “Buy It Now” kind of girl. besides the auctions were inching up to that price anyway. there were other bags for $120 but they were in Canada which has a 2 wk shipping time. by then i’d be truly over it so i paid a little more for a bag from LA which i’ll get tomorrow. i’m such a sucker.

actually the bag was $119. Shipping brought it to $135.
