Photography: Target
Last week we saw a sneak peak of the Erin Fetherston for Target collection. Today, Target released the complete collection on their site. After the more subtle and sophisticated look of Alice Temperley’s collection, this capsule collection brings a very young, flirty and gurly look indeed…I like some pieces! Don’t get too hyped yet, this collection doesn’t hit Target stores until November, after Libertine (releasing July 15th) and Alice Temperley (releasing September 16th). For now, peep the pics after the jump…What are you feelin’?

Wow, loving the very last look!!
July 5th, 2007 at 4:58 pm
do you know who makes the maryjanes, they are cute
July 5th, 2007 at 7:12 pm
i like the creme bubble coat but thats about it. for some reason the whole heart theme screams viktor & rolf for h&m to me.
July 5th, 2007 at 9:09 pm
in your blog a lil while back you mentioned something about your sorority big sis…what sorority are you in?!
July 5th, 2007 at 9:53 pm
i want pretty much everything.
the shoes are now available to order on target’s website.
July 6th, 2007 at 1:32 am
I like some pieces but the model looks so young that it feels that I’m looking at little kids clothes. The model ruined it for me.
July 6th, 2007 at 12:24 pm
they definitely should’ve picked a different model, this one looks horrible and hence makes the clothing look cheap and tacky with her wig’o hair
July 6th, 2007 at 2:01 pm
cute stuff…I cant wait!
July 6th, 2007 at 9:05 pm
I’ll pass on everything but the twill skinny pants.
July 8th, 2007 at 5:31 pm
To those who were asking about the mary jane shoes: They’re already available on Target.com.
July 9th, 2007 at 2:29 pm
Total garbage. All of this will be on the clearance rack.
July 20th, 2007 at 4:44 am
A couple of points:
1. The model DOES look quite young!
2. The whole wig thing works for me cause that’s Erin Featherson’s style.
3. I don’t know why everybody is talking trash… I love the clothes!
4. More importantly I like how Target is getting behind very indie designers. A little aside: I’m glad that Target is going back to promoting the girl designers instead male designers but anyways back to the looks…
5. And lastly, when is it going to be fall already I can’t wait to put away all the dresses and the flats. Can’t wait for break out the heels!
July 20th, 2007 at 4:45 am
Oh yes and I forgot to mention… I will kill for that cream coat!
July 21st, 2007 at 5:12 pm
Most of the clothing here is a tad frilly and cheaply made for my taste.
I thought that they were interesting to look at, but the line doesn’t look like something i’d wear for everyday.
…Although I do adore Erin Fetherston’s personal line which seems more wearable, just not the one made for Target.

i love the peter pan collared dresses. btw, i got those black patent mary janes. they are cute and only 19.99 (i think)!

I don’t know what everyone is talking about. This line is so cute, I want everything right now! Wow, I can’t wait for it to come out. It will do so well with college age and 20 something age women.
September 9th, 2007 at 5:49 pm
GIANT heart bag?!
uggh.
hearts on everything.
is this premiering in limited too?
and don’t ever let me go out in pajamas (pix 3 &4)

When I look at this line, I think to myself “Joan Bennett lives…”. The chiffon dresses and that grey cardigan are cute. But the peter pan collars and hearts have to go. We are targeting >20 right? I feel like if people are wearing most of this stuff, it’ll look like a dollhouse. And bunny tights… this stuff is too expensive if I’m just going to be wearing it in the house. Overall impression- blah.
Bring back proenza. Alice is good right now too.
Love this website.

November 6th, 2007 at 10:28 pm

November 7th, 2007 at 6:32 pm
like that bow jacket, the white jacquard skirt, the bunny dress and the layered black dress. the styling is AWFUL but there are some good pieces. thanks to target for making their collabo clothes available online and at many stores in the U.S unlike others i could name.
November 12th, 2007 at 5:43 pm

I’ve been to two Targets & have already bought many items from this line. The cream colored coat is TDF! Looks as if it costs twice as much as its pricetag. Also got the black wool coat (not pictured, but on the Target site). I really want that navy blue jersey knit dress but haven’t found it yet. I did find a navy blue jersey knit jumper style dress w/velvet heart straps – very cute w/a nice fit. I also got the Erin face T as well as a couple of basic tops for layering.
As for the rest of the collection – it’s very cute to look at, and on very young and THIN girls it will look very cute. But not the average “woman.” Most of the dress are cut kinda funny – small through the arms with extremely full skirts. And the layers are a pain to get on & off. They are not flattering styles at all, and most of the prints are way to young looking (at least for me).
I’m happy with the pieces I did get (I can’t say enough about the long wool coats – both the cream “bubble” style and the black one with empire waist and heart appliquĂ© on the backside. If you like the line, I recommend going to the store & trying it on before buying it. Had I ordered what I wanted online, I would have been very disappointed and most of the things I thought I’d like didn’t work for me.

Correction – - the black wool coat I was referring to IS pictured. It’s the second photo, shown over the thermal heart top & leggings. This is my favorite piece!!!

the model looks retarded or something.. but apart from that put-off, the line is cute
December 20th, 2007 at 7:31 pm
I love it all! Except for the red velvet shorts. Can’t wait till it comes out!
January 14th, 2008 at 3:03 am
