The Scene
Around a curtained corner in the posh Le Parker Meridien, a neon burger sign points the way to the city’s secret obsession. Suits, tourists and foodies pack this crowded hole-in-the-wall, where names are etched into walls next to kid’s drawings and movie posters. Even though it’s decorated like a regular’s hangout, no one sticks around–the few coveted booths are hovered over shamelessly. – Citysearch

I have to admit I luv burgers and fries, when I first heard about Burger Joint through my co- worker I immediately jumped at it. Everyone at work LUVS this spot and always have it, its like super FAMOUS here haha. But if you’re not planning to wait for a table (first come, first serve) you MUST call in your order to avoid the long lines outside of this hotspot. I’ve never sat down to eat there, but I plan on doing it one day. Are the burgers that good? YES, its amazing, one of my FAVORITE spots, its so damn good, tender and juicy…I’ve been to this spot several times and never can get enough. The workers are very very nice, even at such a high paced environment they can still joke around and keep kewl. Everyone that luvs burgers should make a trip up to Le Parker Meridien to try out Burger Joint, you won’t be disappointed, at least I wasn’t! The pictures I captured were a bit blurry b/c there were just too many people hovered around a small area…deal with it! Peep the pics after the jump…

P.S. Do you have a good burger spot to recommend?

Super good^_^ I tried Jackson Hole too which is alright if you’re in the mood for a whole lotta meat~!!! Burger Heaven on Lex is alright too~!!!

Theres this new place called “BRGR” accross from my school on 7th avenue between 27th and 26th and the burgers are pretty good. Theyre pretty expensive because everything is “organic” and fresh. But the its a pretty cute atmosphere and the burgers are pretty good.

The burgers at Prune are the best I’ve ever had, but they only serve them at lunch during the weekdays. They’re part beef, part lamb and soooooo good.

I LOVE Burger Joint. I liked the on Bleecker but it closed. My fave burger places are DuMont Burger in Williamsburg (I go there at least once a week) and Cozy Soup N’ Burger on 8th and Broadway

sorry butcha haven’t had burger till you’ve had it at PJ Clarkes. nat king cole called it “the cadillac of burgers.” the fries are mmmmmm as well. order bacon cheesburger or the bearnaise burger. 3rd ave and 55th st. the dessert and coffee suck, don’t order those. definitely start off with a bloody mary and a dozen littleneck clams.
