My friend sent over a video from Wednesday’s Anya Hindmarch I’m Not A Plastic Bag launch @ Whole Foods Bowery. The video was filmed at 7AM and the line was never ending, the rain was pouring, everyone was under their umbrella waiting impatiently for the clock to hit 8AM. I was told the bags were sold out within an hour or so, its no wonder you see over 900 pieces on eBay. See for yourself…

Actually the Bowery store had a lot of the bags. I got there at 7:30 ish and left around 9:30 and they still had the bags. The line was insane and the rain didn’t help at all.
Hi there! Don´t know if you received my mail I sent to you last day but I won the auction of “I´m not a plastic bag” at Ebay (UK) for “only” 54 UK£. It was the japanese version with green lettering. The bag is coming with a book and a poster (a set). Acceptable price I think because the set is costing about 21 UK£ in UK. Anyway, I´ll looking forward my summerholiday with the bag. And the best of all, the bag won´t launch in Sweden:-). Sanna
Do these people not have jobs? All this lining up for several hours in the pouring rain…for a tote bag.
I just don’t get it. I hope that re-sell price is really worth their time and effort.
WHAT THE WHAT!!! OMG THAT LINE WAS OUT OF CONTROL!!! THATS REALLY BUGGED OUT!
WOW!!! We had it so much easier at Union Square. I got there near 6am and the line had less than 100 people. AND! We had scaffolding around the block, so no one needed an umbrella. lol.
I heard people were waiting out at the bowery since the night before. wow.
am i seeing things, are were 99% of those lining up all asian?

Are these bags sold on eBay original items? Or are they imitation ones??
