Several new female streetwear brands are evolving, I’m glad they’re acknowledging that there is a market for the ladies in the dominant male streetwear game. SWNDL is a new female streetwear label set to debut this Fall (mid-late August). SWNDL was first established as “Swindel Designs, Ltd.” in April 2007 serving as a business platform for creative work. An abbreviation of the word swindle, their name is a direct reflection of their outlook: a collective of young city talent out to get theirs. Combining their love for Brooklyn and popular sensibility they form to work on various projects, mainly their street wear apparel line. Are you feelin’ this?
