The Scene
Midori Matsu has 12 hibachi stations that each seat 8 to 10 people and 2 other hibachi stations in a private party room. Midori Matsu has a full bar featuring Japanese beer and a host of a variety of cocktails.

Being that I’m not so familiar with eatery in Queens and it was getting late and my party was a bit tired, as B was driving around we passed by and spotted a huge hibachi restaurant and decided to have our dinner there since we all having had hibachi in a hot min (years!). The spot was closing in 30 mins so we knew we had to make it quick but luckily there were also other customers still dining inside. The food was average, very small portions – one order of hibachi is really for one person and the service was average as well. The hibachi chef was trying to be funny but I wasn’t having it and kinda got annoyed at him, he seemed like he was in a bit of a rush…didn’t like that at all. I def don’t recommend this place and will not go back, peep the meal after the jump…
