Text & Pictures: retrogurl My last shopping stop while I was in Portland was Rock N’ Rose, this spot is one of the newer vintage spots in the neighborhood. The shop is clean and big (1600 sq ft), no digging need, everything is neatly hung on racks and the price tags were very reasonable. I tried on many things and wanted to buy several coats/jackets but of course I was stopped by B, I have no self control sometimes. But I did end up buying one faux fur vintage coat, it is sooooooo cute, I saw it as I entered the store and I knew it was going to be mine! This is def a good spot for vintage finds, their goods are nicely picked and kept very well. I will go back if I ever visit PDX again, peep the pics after the jump…

i bought similar coat ( but in one color – amazing dark red , probably from 70s ) on sale in secondhand and i payed 5$ XD

The problem with this shop is that they just invited a photographer whose work is on the web to show in her store with only a few days notice. After she went out and spent the money and put in a sleepless night getting the thing ready, they changed their minds. Some of her images include blood. Big deal. If they’d done their research they would have seen the sane shots on line, but instead they waited for her to promote the thing on the web and then this weekend they fucked her.
If they’re going to be that callous, then they don’t deserve your business. A deal is a deal and she more than did her part in what she thought to be an emergency last minute deal.
