Seriously, can one even tell these two dresses apart? If I didn’t put this together I surely won’t even have noticed the slight differences. Reader Priscilla, spotted this Forever 21 copy yesterday and was stunned, so she wanted to share this with you guys. I am a bit pissed because I do own the Kate Moss Topshop version but hey that’s life when something’s hot/popular it gets copied! If you didn’t want to splurge £60.00 for Kate Moss Topshop version but loved this dress, now you can own an exact (well almost) copy from Forever 21 for $24.90, what a STEAL! Cop it quick, I have a feelin’ its going to disappear off their webstore very quickly! A copy of a copy, I remember reading that Topshop will sue if anyone copies their Kate Moss Topshop designs…hmm. May be, I’ll get one just for the hell of it haha! 15 Responses to “Kate Moss Topshop vs. Forever 21” |

the irony is incredible. topshop was sued by chloe for knocking off their designs, so topshop shouldn’t be suing anyone. and all of kate’s “designs” were knockoffs of vintage and designer pieces. a knockoff of a knockoff of a knockoff ha!

That’s weird, I actually like the Forever 21 cut better.

fashion is so incestuous. topshop shouldn’t be suing anyone either! OF COURSE IM GOING TO BUY THE CHEAPER ONE! there was no integrity, creativity, originality in the topshop one to start with.

Oh whatever, topshop ain’t gonna sue nobody when they copy stuff themselves. That would be dumb. The price they sell it at is ridiculous anyway for the cheap material they use, anyone would get the cheaper one. forever21 rules.

Retrogurl, you shouldn’t be pissed about buying the original–it is way cooler because it has the bondage strap neck all the way around, while the Forever 21 version only has it in the front and is plain and high-necked in the back. I was totally going to buy it online until I noticed that. Also, the fabric of the F21 version looks like it would wrinkle way more than the TopShop version.

I have to say the F21 version looks like it would be more flattering on the body, the cut of the dress just looks better… but it shouldn’t stop you from enjoying your TS version in any event…

i also picked up the forever 21 version today —- i saw it while perusing the new soho location and couldn’t resist bringing it home. the fit is great, i can’t wait to wear it out this weekend, regardless of who topshop might be suing! : )

it really frustrates me that forever 21 doesn’t ship to europe :[

Actually, forever 21 takes a lot of topshop’s clothing, as well as others.
the new tiger body suit is basically a replica of topshop’s as well./
