Alice Temperley for Target Available NOW!

The long anticipated Alice Temperley for Target collection is now available at Target.com! I’ve received several emails days before the official launch (September 16th) telling me it has dropped at certain stores but I never had a chance to make it down. Luckily most of the stuff I wanted was online, I honestly never have any luck in shopping for GO Designers at my local Target! Target.com offers free shipping for the purchase of $50+ so I rather avoid the long lines and disappointment at stores haha, for Target purchases I’m more of an online shopper. I’m off to bed now but drop me a line and let me know what you copped! Enjoy!

I bet the Atlantic Terminal Target in Brooklyn is going to be a mad house! Its crazy even on a regular weekend. I’m glad they had the belted sweater coat online! that’s the one thing I really wanted, i just hope its as cool as it looks online when in comes in the mail! Totally bummed that the hat though!! i’ve been wanting a hat like that but having trouble finding a thin knit one, any suggestions anyone?

I was really looking forward to this line, but what I found in the store was really disappointing. Sometimes I think Target needs a better stylist when it comes to floor displays. They had mostly tees and pants at my Target. None of the cute pieces in the previews. Maybe I just need to try stuff on.

i have been so excited about the sweater coat and the white & black striped elastic belt! i got those this morning. the other pieces i want are not out yet so i’ll just keep checking in to see when they release more pieces from the collection.

When I showed up at Target at 11 am (the store opens at 8), it wasn’t even OUT yet! I wandered around all outraged until I found a random rack of clothes that looked like they were going out onto the floor, and behold! the Temperley stuff was there.

The only dresses they had were the gray shirtdress and the black, white, and pink printed dress… I loved the print, but it didn’t fit me so well, so I think I’m going to take it back.

I also bought the black-and-white sweater with the stripey sleeves — I didn’t love it on the rack, but it was way cuter on.

Can’t wait until the rest of the stuff arrives in the stores!

my target actually released the line on the 14th, so i was super excited! i got the cropped white coat and im going back today to get the black vest and creme polka dot l/s blouse. i love this line! :)

I live in a very un-fashion forward town and I just called target and they said they have the collection out! I’m excited, and not too worried about lines :)

  • Tara says:

*update* went down there and the stuff is great! I bought this dress http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_7/601-4737417-4898507?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000UK2USK and it’s perfectttt. perfect length and fit (though everything runs really small. I usually wear a 6-7 and got this dress in a 9 because it’s too tight in the chest)

The hat will be available within the next two weeks online.

Target releases the Go collections in 3 cycles (for the more familiar, “heavy-hitter” designers like Luella, Paul & Joe and Proenza ). It’s two cycles of desinger trend, and then one for t-shirts, tanks, etc. However, for fall there is only two cycles. Behnaz was available for (almost) two months as will the Temperley collection, therefore the next cycle of items will be released in the next week or two. The hat comes in both a pale pink and black, and is so cute! Also, there is a badass pair of fingerless gloves that will sell out for sure.

I got the ruffle blouse in cream (but I wanted it in gray, but they didn’t have it in my size, and I tried two Targets!) and a long sleeved blue shirt, which I don’t recall in the previews. One of the black babydoll dresses fit well, but I restrained myself some. I found that they fit kind of smaller than what I usually expect (for Target at least), but a lot more good finds in this collection, and I’m hoping people around these parts will leave some of the items for a while so I can snag them on clearance come time to switch this line out for Erin Fetherston.

  • Trish Teilmann says:

I bought the bright blue cropped melton jacket, the navy lace-inset tank, and the black thermal babydoll dress. I had some issues with the fit on quite a few items, as this GO line seems smaller than previous ones.

  • Jen says:

i got the blue cropped jacket as well-hopefully it fits okay, i bought it online cuz i don’t have time to stop by a target anytime soon. also, there was a 10% off code and free shipping so i figured if i don’t like it i can just take it back.

  • Nina says:

looks really nice, might go check out target this week and see if I like anything.

I went online at midnight on the 16th to get all the goods. I bought A LOT! I love Temperley on the runways, but of course, can’t afford it, so the Target collection was a good option. I ordered the 2 melton wool jackets (one in cobalt and one in cream), the black dress with pink cutouts, the two floral mini-dresses, the black and white leaf print sweater, and the black and blue tunic. I’ve read a lot of bad reviews about the melton wool jacket…and I saw it in the store after ordering it, and it DID look like felt instead of nice wool. Apparently the wool count is something like 10%! Did anyone else get this jacket? What do you think? Anyways, since it has already shipped, I’ll just wait and try everything on. So far, a lot of mixed reviews from what I read.

the one on queens blvd had them in stock on time yesterday but most of the small sizes were actually gone and they didnt seem to have everything. i was able to get the grey sweater coat, black (with pink petals) knit dress and the black, white, pink short sleeve crepe dress. they all look great with black tights. :)

  • K says:

I went back yesterday and bought the navy-and-black wrap dress. Love!

  • erin says:

I went to my local Target on Sunday and got the fabulous sweater with white leaves on the front and black and white striped sleeves! It fits really well, and is the perfect length which means I won’t be tugging at it! I’m looking forward to the blue military jacket that should be coming out soon!! Easily the best Go line yet!

  • Estella says:

    Hi,

Does anyone know when the belted sweater dress in black/white, $49.99 will be released? It is not online or in the stores. It is the number one item on http://www.nitrolicious.com/blog/2007/05/18/alice-temperley-for-target-preview/

  • Brandi HP says:

Yes! I’m waiting patiently for the lovely black and white sweater dress (with white diamond pattern at neckline and white horiz. stripes at skirt bottom) to come out. It’s definitely not in the stores yet, so I tried online, but alas, it’s not there either! Maybe in the next “cycle” like elcee (above) blogged? Anyone know?

  • Madeline says:

I love this line, the best GO line so far in my opinion. So far I’ve bought:

Black and white striped sleeve leaf sweater (fits great, looks great, I love it)
    Gray ruffly Victorian blouse
    Cropped black military style jacket
Black melton wool coat (it’s not online yet)
Blue military jacket (also not online yet)
    Gray sweater coat
    Black and white belt

I ordered the last two online and shipping said it would be 3-5 days, but it’s not expected to be here until the 28th, meaning it would take 2 weeks! Doesn’t matter, because it will be worth the wait. I got lucky and found the blue military jacket at the Target at my parents’ place, and I’m still waiting for the black and sweater dress with the stripes, diamond shapes, and white sash belt thing. The line runs smaller than the others like Libertine, but I’m glad. I’m smaller and I was hoping this line would fit because I like the looks, and they do! Very chic and sophisticated. Some of the materials are a bit cheap, but it’s style moreso than quality that we’re paying for!

Has anyone spotted the long Georgette Crepe Halter Dress in black/white/pink print? I can’t find in any store in Houston and it’s not available online?

  • Ella says:

I have nearly bought out the entire Temperley line. My favourites are the striped tees in black/white and black/grey. I have worn them both with leggings, wide leg jeans, and skinny jeans. The sweater coat is awesome and I have received lots of comps. Also the black vest I’ve worn w/ t-shirts, all ruffled blouses — totally versatile and cute. Finally, the black military jacket goes with pretty much everything I own that is neutral, and adds a great finishing touch.. Bottom line: If you find any of these items in your store, grab them because Target is currently sold out online. Go Target! This collection rocks.

hi i am looking for the demin overalls and i would like to know what is the biggest size they come in i need a 13 or bigger. i normally wear a 10-12 but the 11 would not come past my thighs. I do believe the clothing is made for a thin person with no hip or butt .
