The Penélope & Mónica Cruz for MNG by Mango collection is now available at MangoShop. The range consists of 25 pieces including accessories, I wasn’t holding high expectations when I first heard about this collaboration. Indeed there’s nothing that really sparked my interest except the Jacket 3CC Dolly but I shouldn’t be spending $129 for that right now. Are you feelin’ this collection?

Jacket 3CC Dolly, $129

i love the red strapless long dress but can so not be spending $$ on that now. between the kate moss for topshop & temperley for target, not to mention vera wang for kohls it’s all too much at once!!!
Posted By: xmas | September 17th, 2007 at 12:11 pmi am going to wait until the nyc/boston mango stores actually open to order/buy.
the quality at mango is fantastic. ive literally washed a lot of my items from there tons and tons of times….its not like H&M where the stuff falls apart after a few wearings.
do you know when the nyc store is going to open?
Posted By: lucy92 | September 17th, 2007 at 2:16 pmlucy92 ~ no clue when it’s opening but i hope soon!
Posted By: retrogurl | September 17th, 2007 at 2:29 pmdo you know when its coming to boston?

i know the NYC stores will have the cruz stuff because the future site is flypapered with their images.
Posted By: lucy92 | September 17th, 2007 at 4:08 pmyea…nothing really interests me from this collection.
Posted By: M3lz | September 17th, 2007 at 8:50 pmi have a Mango right by my job (Virginia) so ill jus take a peak at it in person.
We have most of the pieces from the collection in S’pore now. By the looks of it, this collection is just one big yawwwwn.
Posted By: Shi Ping | September 19th, 2007 at 11:37 ami just bought the leopard coat. not like i needed another one living in LA but the cut and color are fabulous.
Posted By: xmas | September 25th, 2007 at 4:04 ami have been waiting to see what they have come up with. i really like their sense of classic style with a sexy sophisticated twist. i do have to say i am a little dissappointed. It just seems ho hum, nothing that really makes it stand out. Also, i am a little confused as to the age demographic they were going for.
Please, let the professional fashion designers do their passion and the actresses be just that, actresses.
