i just put in my order this morning, can’t wait to see how the pieces look in person!
Hi-
Just to comment, you totally remind me of my cousin. Are your parents from HK too?
So, I haven’t received my orders yet, which somewhat defeats the purpose of commenting. But I definitely initially ragged on the collection as being too dollhouse creapy little girl, but after seeing pictures of the runway shots etc (non blonde wig girls) it makes them seem wearable and cute. So target is totally robbing me since I have bought almost the whole collection of temperley, robinson, proenza, My landlords and roommates laugh whenenver a target box appears. I am staying away from the acrylic cardigans in this line b/c the material is crap. Additionally, I do not understand the craze about the heart bags. They are bulky and ridiculous, not lasting past this month’s trend, invest in any of the cuter bags at target.com. If you are going to get a big ass bag, you should have gotten the Devi Kroell one. Also the black wool coat, it has crazy hearts on it which is a turn off for me. Also the frills, can’t decide whether it is cute or not. It is appropriate if you have stepped into the land of care bears.
I got: white cream coat, grey jumper (nitrolicious you would look cute in this one), purple tier dress, black cropped coat, blue jumper, white athena dress, bow shirt, blck/blue bow shirt, black heart scarf. I don’t know why target robs me so, I think I have dipped into my tax money.

Whew! Off my chest, now I can work!
Btw I love this website, I def check it daily.
happy sunday! if you are looking for the silk red dress, it’s in stores now. well at least the one in elmhurst.
Nia-> Pam ~ yea my parents are from hk but i’m born and raised in nyc – i luv hk tho! ahaha good choices u got there, i just hate the sizing of target – they just can’t seem to get it correct! i’ll def check out my goods when i receive it.
r ~ i hate shopping at target stores, so i’ll just order online when its available haha!
I checked out the collection yesterday and I have to say I’m sorely disappointed. Most items looked like they attracted a lot of lint or require way too much ironing. The ads are cute but the make and quality were really poor, hence why almost everything was still in stock.
hey, the red silk charmeuse dress is available here:

A lot of the items were actually available at the Target in Whitestone! I only picked up 3 pcs though: Navy skinny pants, Blk S/S tee, and a L/S boatnk top. Unfortunately, I can no longer carry off cutesy outfits like the silver jumper!!! *sigh*
I was obsessed with this collection ever since our nitrolicious posted up the pics. But… I am so dismayed by what I saw in stores! Where do I start?
1. Heart Cardigan Sweater
This sweater is a total disappointment! It look so tacky and cheap. It’s that god-awful acrylic material. EEeee!
2. Erin Icon Tee
Tacky tacky! And not even in the way that Posh is tacky (like tacky fabulous). This shirt is just plain ick.
Those two are probably the worst of all. But lots of the pieces were like that. Like there costume-y. Or just plain silly.
the biggest disappointment of all: the dress. That huge trapeze shape on the charmeuse jumper is all wrong. It is cut ENORMOUS!!! Or the bunny dress (the print is so adorable by the way!). I had to pass on this dress. It made me so sad cause I love prints! The cut of it is so cute-sy. It was all wrong to me. And in stores the straps on the lilac tiered dress is sewed really close together. And on the gold tiered dress, the material reminds me of a lamp shade. I was so sad!
And I am going to have to agree with Danica, I don’t get what’s the big deal about the heart bags? As of right now I am really excited about the red head band! And I’m waiting to see the beige coat…
i ordered probably half the collection online but plan on returning a lot of it like i always do with the go collections. once i know i have what i want then i make the trip to target to check out what’s left. i was surprised that the bunny dress was so cute. it was really not what i expected from the photos. the grey & black cardigans are so super cute. and at that price who cares if they don’t last forever! the black ruffle mini & black satin/velvet mini were so super cute! don’t pass up on grabbing one of those if you’re on the fence.
i happen to like the fact that everyone has strong opinions on what they like and don’t like in the collection. i for one think the heart bags are so super fabulous! but if everyone felt the same way about all the pieces we would all look the same!
i did think that a few of the pieces that looked great in the photos looked cheap in person:
cream & black peter pan collar blouse, gold dress w/ white ruffles. i am not a fan of the peter pan collared dresses for me but i’m sure they would look fabulous on someone else.
i can’t wait to see the cream coat in person since they didn’t have that at the store. i must say that after trying some of the pieces on today i am not sure that this is by far the best go yet!! i’m sure i will be in big trouble when my husband checks the credit card bill but i blame tarjay for being so darn fabulous!!!
I wrote a reply on an earlier post. I saw the collection at Target, and it looked so cheap. The bunny top and dress were surprisingly cute. But the heart cutouts were irregular and cheap. The stitching is poorly done, and it makes the hearts look crumpled and crafty. But not in a good way. In an arts and crafts way. The best I can figure is that Target provides the fabrics for the designers, or they require they use a certain fabric because they all look the same as past collections. I was pretty underwhelmed by the quality even though the pieces are cute.
A lot of the stuff was hit-or-miss, but I still liked this collection. I found the stuff that was best in quality were the thicker items, such as the red corduroy jumper dress (this was my favorite piece in the collection!) and the outwear (the jacquard crop jacket is very cute and looks more expensive than it is). A lot of the tops were disappointing, though. However, I still got the Peter Pan collar shirt despite the thinness of the material because I liked the ribbed bibbing detail and the collar so much. I figure I can just wear it under a jumper or vest and get the best use of the details I liked.
I agree a lot of the materials used left something to be desired. I ended up getting the bunny print thermal, because I knew I would actually wear it for sure. I really liked the long gray coat as well but not for $89.99. The Target I went to was pretty well stocked yesterday afternoon, (had the red satin dress) but I didn’t see the accessories anywhere?
Oh god, I got my first wave of orders today, and it was such a disappointment. The white dress that looked adorable was a utter mistake in execution. I sized down to 1, but the material looks like halloween costume material no joke. It’s the same material as your standard devil/ vampire cape. The white coat fabric was bad too. It was very very thin, something you would expect at like RAVE or wet seal, and for $89? Definitely cheap HK material that you would get in one of those luy yen gai (omg did I just try to bust some caninglish… yes I did). I would have even preferred the temperley polar fleece material. Ouch diss.
I still have hope for the next package.
i went to the acutal target store last week, and i agree with you guys. their materials were just not worth it. although, i did like couple items, like “jacquard bow jacket/skirt/pants”, (the sizing of the jacket was really weird. very tight chest, and loose body) for $14. and i did get that cream color coat for $22. if they were non-sale price, i wouldn’t have bought em, but they were cheap and nice (NOT great). i’m saving money for coming Jovovich hawk collection. this one’s GOTTA be good.
