Earlier this year I’ve gotten into rain boots since NYC rains a lot, my first pair was a white Marc Jacobs, I’m still loving it but I needed another pair to alternate. I’ve seen these Gucci rain boots on a few people and thought they were super cute (comes in navy blue, green, red/burgundy and black) but I didn’t want to splurge $300 on it. Luckily Gucci had a pre-sale event earlier this month and they had the black pair on sale so I copped it for $172.71! The package arrived this weekend and it was just perfect! It’s not your typical rainboot, can be rocked as a boot as well – keeps you warm and its insulated. Definitely worth the money, I can’t wait to rock them! if you missed out on the sale there’s a few pairs on eBay up for grabs. More pics and eBay auctions after the jump…

Love rain boots!
I DON’T SEE THOSE BOOTS…HAVEN’T SEEN THEM THERE AND I’VE BEEN VISITING EVEN BEFORE THE POSTS! ARE THEY ON GUCCI.COM?
I have the same ones in green! I like the black a lot because they can be rocked with anything. The green jumped out at me cause they were a little funky and different. =)
i was looking for non rainboot looking rainboots. i wanted those but i just cant do a monogram. i tried i really did. but its not in me to rock blatant logos. so i settled on these in blackand got the fleece warmers for like 10 extra bucks.

do the boots fit true to size??
gorjess ~ it was on gucci.com when i posted the news but at the end of the day it was taken off. luckily i was waitlisted, so i got the boots! you should call the gucci stores and ask about if if you want them, i’m not sure if they still have them. good luck.

I got the Blue ones last year for only $100!!! I walked in the gucci store and it was fate. i HAD TO BUY EM! I live in california so i drive a loe. So driving in those gucci boots are killer. i swear it is the HARDEST THING EVER!

Bluefly.Com has a great selection of these Gucci Wellies Rainboots. They have them in black, Silver, bronze and a rusty red… Last I checked they had a couple sizes left. But you better move fast because these boots are very popular!I have the Rusty red ones- and I love them!

HEY, I HAVE THESE IN BLACK SIZE 9 AND I BOUGHT THEM FROM THE GUCCI STORE AND THEY ARE TOO BIG!!!! I WANT THEM IN AN 8 1/2 AND I DONT THINK THEY TAKE BACK BOOTS.. I ONLY WORE THEM ONCE AND SOOO UPSET I GOT 1/2 SIZE TOO BIG!
