Stopped by Marc by Marc Jacobs last Saturday to check if there were any new specialty items and flats for work, not knowing that I’ll run into a 90% off shoe sale! I didn’t even know they would markdown so low, wow gets me thinking how much they’ve marked it up! I didn’t even realize till B was like, “The shoes are 90% off, did you see?” I quickly went to see if there were any styles and sizes for me, I came across two pairs that sparked my interest. Luckily, both of them were available in my size and only my size haha! The brown suede knee-high boots retailed for $790, after the discount it was $79! The black/grey boot retailed for $595, after the discount it was $59.50. My total was $138.50, what a steal! I can’t wait to rock them, are you feelin’ these? To be honest, I can’t walk long in super high heels…these will be a night out at dinner and that’s about it! I can probably walk about 1-2 hours in these before changing into flats, I’ll def be carrying around a pair of flats when I decide to rock these but they’re damn HOT! More pics after the jump…

wasn’t this an absolute DREAM? i happened upon this sale the same way you did…and scooped up three pairs, including the black ones you got, and a taupe version and grey version. like you, i have no freakin idea where and when i will wear them, but you better be sure i will! i wonder how many gals will be walking around manhattan with the same boots???

if only that store had mens shoes too. that store is filled with womens shoes and womens bags.

how saddening. but the specialty store is definitely addicting. i keep eyeing the pan am weekender but i feel i would be buying it just cause and then i wouldn’t like it after a while. oh well. isn’t that the true meaning of shopping nowadays.
i heard about the sale the day before and still didnt bother to go. they only had really small sizes or really big. and a lot of those god awful flats with the socks attached. nothing i wanted. check ebay. they also had the same sale in LA. all the marc stores sent their stock to LA or NYC.

Sigh! This and the ocean are what I miss about the coasts – we have lovely mountains out west but no sample or flagship store sales! It hurts even more that I know they had all the extreme sizes, and that I know MJ makes 34s and 35s. Please take extra enjoyment in your extraordinary boots (and don’t they look even better when they’re bargainous?) for all of us who must live vicariously.

I realy like the first pair…
I actually got the black ones sans platforms on the front~!!! I also picked up Burgundy Mary Jane T-Strap Boots~!!! 90% off seemed too good to be true, but as I have size 5 feet, I had a fair amount of choice~! The burgundy are pretty comfy except when walking for a long period of time, they give me foot cramps, but the black ones are no problem at all~!
