    NO.

It has no replaceable batter, no cd drive, and one USB port. NOT practical!!

I’m going to wait until it like…has a full touch screen and has at least 2 usb ports, and a cd drive. I didn’t even know it didn’t have a cd drive!

Battery replacements cost $129, installation from Apple is free. The MBA is definitely not a desktop replacement of any sort, but it extremely attractive for folks whose always on the go and will use it for simple everyday use.

Oh i’m about to pre-order one, it’s perfect for a mac household that already has everything set up wirelessly. I have a macbook and i never use the dvd drive unless i’m installing something, and now i get to borrow that drive from another mac in the house? too cool:) And the battery…yeah one I’ve never replaced my battery and never have needed to on all mac laptops that i’ve had, and if i did, like another reader stated it’s replaced for free and so you only pay for the battery at cost anyways. the point of no drive is pushing towards making everything wireless, which is perfect for me! not to mention i never use any usb plugs anyways…it’s pretty much becoming obsolete these days anyways. I just wish it was white instead of the aluminum, but hey, i’m still happy i’m about to get mine! now here comes ebay to sell my current one lol. Any takers??

Hmmm. I like the post, but it’s a bit subjective to be honest. Not that my opinion matters :) Keep posting!
