Comments Confusion

First off I loveeeeeee comments, I read each and everyone of them! I always see the certain “few” individuals dropping a line, I totally appreciate it but where’s everyone else? Don’t be shy, hit your gurl up and let’s communicate. Are my topics boring you guys? :( What is it? Tell me, please…

Anyways, the main reason for this post is because I’ve noticed a lot of people getting confused on how comments work on nitro:licious. All comments are moderated to ensure there won’t be any flame wars going on here and that’s just the way I like it. So unless I’m by a computer “approving” the comments your comments will not be seen by others but yourself and I.

How to read comments (please see above image), your comment is on top and your name (posted by:) is under. Many people get confused and leave several comments saying their comments went under another person’s name when they are just reading it wrong. Hopefully this will help clear the air a bit.

Please do not promote your blog, website, online store, myspace page, etc. on the comments section. You can list it under the URL section when you’re filling out the form to leave a comment (next to the E-mail box). But please do not link it in your comment area, if you do not have a URL then leave it BLANK – you do not need to put nitrolicious.com, donthave1, none, n/a. The section is not required to leave a comment.

I think I’ve covered all the “confusions” I’ve seen on this blog – if there’s anymore let me know.

am not gonna lie more then recently the blog has been sorta boring when ever i come to your site i find myself scrolling through pretty much everything and then am like NEXT….. i dont mean to be mean but hey i been waiting to tell you that. i like when you blog about stuff that people can afford and buy not sooo much the stuff thats like $2,000 and up if i wanted that then i would go and pick up a vogue magazine. my thought on blogs, especially yours are for the majority of people that shop on a budget, and still wanna look fab. As you know wheter they admit it or not we are in a recession, so money spent especially on close has to be done cautiously, well thats my two cents. BTW i first became in love with your website for your inside knowledge to the next GO designers at target, payless etc etc, H&M luv stories, and when you go to vintage thrift stores :) . i think you can agree those comments never fall short of your expectations.

^ I totally disagree with you on that. I love that there is a variety of info that nitro is passing to her readers. I love that i can show my girl affordable stuff and some fancy stuff. I don’t want my girl to rock all the same stuff. I think a girl should have some cheap and some fancy stuff. Keep at it nitro, just do your thing!

Your topics are far from boring I’ve recently found this site again and I adore it.

I don’t write all too much unless I’m compelled to write it. One time, you wrote a post on the NIKE project in the hoods, and I asked a question, but nobody ever helped me answered it, so I don’t feel the need to post too much. I DO, however, read your blog ALL the time, and you do a real great job. Coming from an Asian youngster, so it’s even more fun to read:) Anyway, keep it up.

Your site is definitely interesting! i read it everyday, whether to browse or whatever! I especially found it useful when you mentioned those boots from Gossip girl! i was fortunate to buy myself a pair, just in time too, they were sold out but then became available from amazon.com! last size 8.
I was able to get it mailed to the States to my cousin’s house, they’ll mail it back to me (Canada).
    so Thanks! :)
You do have so amazing pictures etc and a lot of the time you are the first to mention a sale or a new collaboration. But for me, unless its amazing and i get really excited, i just don’t post.

p.s. you should include Canada in your contests! :p

I actually love your site. I read it practically everyday and when I don’t have a chance I backtrack to read every post I missed. Of course I will not be interested in everything you post, but pretty much you have schooled me and opened my eyes to new designers and the latest fashion; I am very happy about that. I love the fact that you are very versatile and have a range of taste. I absolutely love the fact that you can wear a LV bag and shoes from H&M and not be ashamed about it. You reach many different economic backgrounds, so I like the fact that you are down to earth, reach many masses, are not uppity ($$$ hasn’t changed you). I don’t know of any website like this and found you via concreteloop; another one of my favorite websites. Thank you and keep doing your thing!!!!

I would do both!!! Either way it goes it’s all about the person in the clothes. You make the outfit don’t let the outfit make you!
