Quality definitely is a factor when Im lookin at a sneaker. Availability comes in to play also, you dont want something that is on your feet that is also on everybody elses walking by. Originality, probably the most important of them all, if they aren’t original or have a distict flare about them I will usually pass.
22/Notre Dame, Indiana
1) It has to really colorful so that the sneakers stand out. 2) The style of the sneakers such as if they’re high-tops or just regular, 3) And most importantly, the quality of the materials that they are made out of such as leather, etc…
20/Vancouver, BC (Canada)
The first factor that I pay attention to is the comfort of the sneaker. It has to be durable and comfortable at the same time. I also pay attention to the materials used, whether they are unique or good quality. Finally I pay attention to the style and the design of the shoe. I love funky, unique patterns on my shoes or really nice colorways! I hope i get this shoe! totally my size
1. Interesting textures and/or materials (think outside smooth leather or canvas!)
2. Quality! Quality! Quality! Shoes cannot look or feel cheap. Cheap material equals a shoe that doesn’t last or is way uncomfortable. Plus cheap materials look fugly.
3. Comfort is a big factor. I don’t want my sneaks to rub and poke me, I leave that to my man!

17/Gainesville, Georgia
1. Color. I like wearing different colors and having different colors in my shoes so that I can wear different shirts with them. I like variety.
2. Comfort. I need my sneakers to be comfortable because I’m a busy person. Even at school I do a lot of walking- making errands for teachers, taking pictures for yearbook, etc. I’m an athletic person so my casual shoes need to keep my feet satisfied.
3. Style. I like shoes that look ‘cute’ on my feet. You know not all shoes are for everyone. But sometimes it just all depends on what type of pant/jean you wear them with.
18/ Meriden, CT
1.Comfort is absolutely a must.
2.I definitely take color into consideration, I like to spend my money on something that will fit in with my wardrobe.
3.How fast they catch my eye.
21 / Virginia Beach, VA
1. Quality
2. Color (I love bright colors!)
3. Versatility (I love shoes I can wear more than once!)
Super excited to actually a shoe in my size! Lovin’ these!
2. Walnut, CA
3. The style/design of the sneakers, definitely the colors and comfort.

3. The three things that make a sneaker for me is: 1) the QUALITY how long it will last 2) the COLOR/STYLE/PATTERN like how it makes my feet look… like big, small or weird in it overall how it makes me feel when I rock it my outfit 3) the PRICE I’m not going to lie I’m not make out of money! It has to be a reasonable price for me because I’m a college student after all.
Thanks, nitro:licious I can’t believe this is sneaker is a 3.5 its hard to come across a nice one at this size. =)

1. It has to be DIFFERENT from all the rest.
2. Bright colors (either from the exterior of the shoe or the blinking lights that are built in)!
3. The way the shoe is designed (futuristic is definitely “in”).

Something that adds to an outifit and is different. It has to be comfortable like if i have to run from 5-0 haha. I love bright colors! Basically it just has to look good on my feet. Also im looking for good quality that will last for a long time.
2. 19/ San Diego Ca
3. Three things that make a sneaker for me are: 1) color- very important, not really into the bright neon colors, but love colors that are rare- gold, silver, dark purple, etc…2) material of sneakers. I like lace, patent leather, tweed…3) HI-TOPS, love them! look cute on small feet =]

20/Bronx, NY
1. The sneaker has to be comfortable
2. The colors have to be where i can wear it with more than one outfit. I’ll make an exception if i really like them though.
3. The material used, I like material that can be easily cleaned.
19/Flushing NY
Shoes often make or break an outfit, so I would definitely have to say that style is my number one priority when it comes to shoes.
The colorway would have to be second, since I like matching my outfits and if I have a really nice shoe in some random color, I would probably never wear it.
Third would have to be originality, I don’t want to be wearing my new shoes and feeling good about myself, when half the people on block has the same shoe as me. Your shoes and clothes define who you are as a person and I don’t want to be seen as a poser.
17/ Torrance, CA
1. Originality - a shoe needs to stand out to me. Usually the ones that are rare are the best. I want it to be different from everybody else’s shoes.
2. Design - it’s important that the shoe looks good and has good quality.
3. Size - More nike SBs need to be made in smaller sizes. The shoe needs to fit perfectly.
22/Brooklyn, NY
1. Comfort
2. Quality
3. Bangin’ color & style
25/ St Cloud, FL
1. Its def gotta match my outfit. My shoes are always matching my outfits
2. Quality is a biggie. Can’t have shoes falling apart on me.
3. Color combos. Tha more the better.
21/ Brooklyn, NY
1.style-to make something works it has to got its own style.
2.color-inorder to catch people’s attentions, the colors have to have their great match!
3.comfortability-no matter how good something looks, when it starts to hurt your feet, trust me i wouldn’t want to give it another chance.
20/ New York, NY
1. Color scheme and texture are essential components in quality kicks. I love bright, contrasting colors, like in the blue/pink/green/black Nike blazers you posted a while ago.
2. They have to have great arch support. I mostly use my sneakers for dancing, so they need to be comfortable and ergonomical.
3. Yet, they have to scream attitude!! I don’t want orthopedic sneakers. I want HOT KICKS…like these.

1. The Design. It has to be dope not tacky. Something guy’s would love to have but its for woman!
2. The color, I like a contrast between deep and bright. It can’t be all bright.
3. The comfort.

1. First thing is that it has to catch my eye. It’s the thing that first draws me into the shoe. The shoe should be original yet simple with not too much going on. I dont want the shoe to look like there are three ideas going on at once.
2. After seeing the shoe, quality definately plays a major role, how long it last and durability.
3. Lastly, A NON-WHITE MIDSOLE! hate them, >.<
19/ upper darby,pa
1. Comfort! If the shoe is hot but it rubs me the wrong way, see ya!
2. Quality! I need something that will last me a few years.
3. Style! I definately LOVE hightops, splatter, contrasting materials, and colors.
19/mpls., mn
1. design and style to my taste-its gotta be different!
2. quality is a must have!
3. comfortable to rock!
21/Chicago, IL
1. my number one would be color. I love color.
2. the style of the shoe, its design
3. the quality and comfort!
15/Edgewater, NJ
1. Design of the sneaker. I preferably like abstract/simple images rather than
2. The color. Depending on the designs, I can like anything from neutral to vibrant colors.
3. The quality. It wouldn’t be a great pair of kicks if they start tearing apart or yellowing after a couple of uses.
16/ Marcy, NY
comfort, quality, and style; they are all important when it comes to the perfect shoe :]
15/Boulder CO.
1. UNIQUE-NESS- the sneakers should be good looking and stand out, although not too much. Just having a lot of bright colors put together dosent make a sneaker unique. Any company or designer could do that, and of course the sneakers should not be like any other old pair of sneakers out there.
2 THEME- i like sneakers that have a little bit of a color theme. Take the JB Classics Getlos for example. They have a little color in the sole, and then you also see it in the tounges. But it is subtle and not too crazy.
3. VARIETY- i love sneakers that have a variety of different materials or textures in them like the Getlo V2s, they are mostly black, but there is a little texture in the toe and it shines a little.
THESE SHOES ARE FRESH!
16/ Columbus Georgia
1. swagger- the shoe has to have “hard”, one-of-kind uniqueness about it. nobody else should have it at the time or its so fly people hate on it and what it at the same time
2. color- cant be your average white shoe. that boring. it have to have color somewhere on it even if its just a little dot, the color of you shoe draws attention to be it, it helps complete an outfit. the color of your shoe is like the first thing someone notices about them; it should bring the views eye from the sole of your shoe to the tip of your head
3. durability- has to last long. HAS TO! it doesn’t have to be comfortable [[but that is a plus]] cause fashion is pain but it has to last at least to fashion season
15/ Eugene, OR.
1.Color- Tan,Brown, Gray? I’m good with those colors in shoes, but in my everyday style I want some shoes that clash- yet match. CRAZY COLORS fit my personal style, and thats how you’re gonna know me.
2. Style- As an athlete, I can’t wear heels, to keep my feet and legs healthy and to prevent problems with my high arches. I’ve gotta wear tennies. So I want some shoes that make a statement without making me fall over and break my ankle. Plus I gotta be able to move in them. Run after a bus. Or my boys.
3. Unique(I know overused)- I live in a small town, now we’re aren’t exactly considered a ‘hick town’ here, but the fashion should be. We’re all over the map, except for the MAJOR lack of any street style. There are the guys who think the oversized sweatshirts for J.C. Penney’s are ‘gangsta’ and the girls who have their Sketchers and are ‘high fashion urban boho chicks’. Now I like some sketchers and love J.C. Penney’s (socks!) but if I want some real street style I need to get some nice kicks that actually do make a statement. You gotta go out and get ACTUAL street style, to have an urban look.
15/Wichita, KS
[[A MUST!!!]]
Three things that make a sneaker for me;
Quality-
Any shoe brand or designer out there could just throw materials together to make a sneaker then soon fall apart in a shot period of time. Shoe’s are like expensive canvas paintings that can last a lifetime if it is well cared for, it needs to have the fine materials to last.
Conformity-
If the sneakers look good, it doesn’t always mean that the sneakers are comfortable too. I need it to feel like I’m walking on air, or at least comfortable enough so that my feet won’t be soring after wearing the sneakers. :]
Design/Style-
I love my sneakers to stand out and add a little more personality to my wardrobe. I love how some sneakers vary in textures and have bold playful colors I’ve never seen on shoes before. When I’m wearing my sneakers to school, I love the attention I get from them.
SHOWSTOPPIN SHOES. :DDDD
These sneakers will definitely get the attention it needs!
16/ Smithtown. NY.
comfort, style, and quality are important.
i LOVE any color shoes but they have to match
every outfit, like this shoe has various colors
so it wont be hard.
16/chicago,IL
comfort is of course a major factor in choosing shoes, and its the reason why i wear shoes! cuz they are so comfortable, i love sneakers most! without comfort, how can you flaunt it?
color is one of the reasons why i adore shoes and why i buy my shoes! color expresses how you feel and expresses yourself in some ways, even if they dont exactly “ex[ress” ypurself, color is just a lovely and pleasant thing. colors acually make ppl feel a certain way, when ppl see soem color on your feet its like wow and you love the attention it brings u
unique-ness(?) is A BIG factor. like color, which usually brings this unique qquality to ur shoes. and it shows that you’ve got a fine taste in style and fashion
18 / Honolulu, Hawaii
1. Originality
2. Exclusivity
3. Comfortable
1. done
2. 23 / Boston, MA
3. a - color. the shoes have to be spotable and slick
b - how they look outside a good pair of jeans. They’ve got to look so fresh
c - cost. i love a bargain, so when people say “omg, i LOVE your shoes” i can say “ten dolla. super sale.”

1. the sneaker has to have a cool design/build that also describes my personal energy/vibe
2. the fit and comfort
3. wearability i.e. where i can wear the sneakers, how long the style will last with me
2) 22 /Lexington, NC
3) When looking for a sneaker I like for a shoe that is fashionable, something that nobody in my town is rocking so they can say I had it first, the last and most important one for me is comfort because I have very flat feet so I need something with an arch that will support me.

1. Colorways– they have to be the right combo.. cool colors or amazingly colorful, I got them all!
2. Size– I have small feet, and there’s nothing worse than finding a great pair of kicks that aren’t made for the people with smaller feet!
3. Durability– I want to actually wear my kicks, not just keep them for display! I look to see if the colors can withstand the dirty city streets.
27/Rockwood,MI
1.) Originality definitely is key. I would want something that is different from what people wear everyday.
2.) Comfortability is important. You can’t wear a shoe and be uncomfortable while you wear them because then you wouldn’t want to wear them often.
3. Design/Style is crucial because you want something that won’t go out of style next week. A shoe that can keep up with the times is very good to have.

COLORS. I LOVE BOLD COLORS THAT POP!
TIMELESS SHOES. I LOVE SHOES THAT WONT FADE WITH TIME AND SHOES THAT I WILL BE ABLE TO PULL OUT THE CLOSET YEARS LATER AND STILL LOOK FLY!!! LOL
22/Boston, MA!
1) First I need them to be eye-catching, either through color, structure, or materials, which this HOT pair definitely is! I like funky combos that make you double-take, and these better get some looks!!
2) then I need them to be versatile, even if they are some crazy caolor - you should be able to do a lot with them, and these can go with SO much. LOVE the soles!!!
3) Like many others have said, the exclusivity factor is definitely a selling point, cause I don’t want to look down the train and see three other people wearing the same thing I got on! OH NO!
32, Dallas,Tx
1) They must be different. I don’t want everyone in Dallas looking like me. I want set the Trend not the Trend set me. I’m not the Trendy one.
2) Second must be like a one of kind.
3) Thrid, something no one else would have thought about wearing.
20, Rock Hill, South Carolina
1. uniqueness. As in I want everybody looking at my feet when i walk through the doors
2. Inquisitiveness. I need people to not be able to stop themselves from asking where I got them from. Especially since we are on campus to educate one another. Id be performing my duty to the world.
3. Beauty. As anyone knows, many girls, or at least I would wear anything at all if it was beautiful. Why else do you think many women go through the pain and blisters some of those HOT shoes inflict on our poor feet. So sneakers would be a very good change. Plus Im African, I have to walk a lot when i go home on holidays….
19 / Bay Area California

1) BOLD. Kicks that are loud.
2) Quality over quantity.

a + b + c = 3 Things
a. Style - “matchable” with cute outfits & if everyone else at school or just on the streets has it, what makes it special? It’s okay to be a popular BRAND but have variety, too, so people can express themselves.
b. Comfort - pumps and heels are cute, but there’s a reason girls don’t wear them 24/7! .. ouch
c. HYGIENE! I know they come all new and shiny and clean in the box, but it won’t be like that forever unless you do some maintenance! Needless to say, please keep your sneakers clean. You can tell a little something about someone’s personality just by looking at how they take care of their kicks.

3 things that make a sneaker for me are Comfort - Durability -Variety/Style
1. Comfort - got to feel good all day / throughout the wear
2. Duarability - has to last a good while…able to be machine washed…or…cleaned up easily…
3. variety/style - got to have multiple color choices (basic black or white is fine) sometimes want to step out the box…as for variety - mid tops/ high tops/low tops…let me choose what I like don’t choose for me by limiting my selection
19, New York, NY
1. style
2. colors
3. materials - ie. fur, croc, snake, quilt

3. Design - what makes the shoe mm mm delicious
20/Houston,Texas
1)I look for how unique the shoes are. This can vary from color, style, type etc.
2)Anoter key factor is texture i usually tend to appeal to shoes that are shiny and i love shoes that have like the snake skin material.
3)I also like shoes with different colors that have a very unique design.
17/Apopka, FL
three things that make a sneaker for me :…
1. freshness: the sneaker has to make everybody stop and be like wow those are hott or damn i want those .. the more compliments the better
2. versatiliy: they have to be easy to match my outfits and easy to find something to match with.
cuz if you have nothing to match the sneakers with then whats the point of having them.
3. rareness: i hate walking down the street or in a mall and everybody rockin the same kicks as me ..not cool at all… so i have to make sure theyre not played out. and that nobody has them
if the sneaker has a checkmark buy all these things then in my closet they go to add to my collection !!!
p.s. the JB Classics x Sneaker Pimps Getlo Mid passed the test very dope !!!
