Photography: 郭賢興 I don’t know about you but I am quite fascinated with high heeled sneakers its like a 2-in-1 shoe, I personally think that high heeled sneaker is a very interesting concept and a brilliant idea. Circle back to Christian Milian’s custom made Jordan 4 stilettos back in ‘06 that was an amazing pair, don’t we agree? It is definitely a more sporty look but on the other hand if you’re a shorty like me, it would add an extra few inches to our height. I am loving this pair of Junya Watanabe x Converse All Star high heeled sneaker, I’m not sure how much is it but I only know it’s available at On Pedder in Hong Kong (yes all the cute stuff are available in HK which is a bummer!). The wooden heel on the shoes are so cute, I want them! There is also a pair of black Pierre Hardy high heeled sneakers that is amazing too, but ouch to the price – its about US$1145! I’m going to try to get a pair of high heeled sneakers this year, hopefully I run across a dope pair. May be I can get a custom pair too, hmm… Are you feeling high heeled sneakers? It looks strange….I must admit. Almost as interesting as heeled timberland boots.

I mostly wear sneakers when my knees hurt or I’m going to be on my feet for a long time, so I don’t know that I would personally ever wear them, but they’re definitely interesting.

The Converse ones look remarkably similiar to the pair Pee-Wee Herman wore in his “Tequila” biker bar dance scene in “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure…” She’s even pulling one of his moves! Great inadvertent homage to Pee-Wee!

Roxy from BET was rockin these stiletto nikes that were SOO hot! I think you’d love them, ill have to try googling that pic and send it to you!

i like the last ones.. funny things is my firneds and i are way over the high heeled sneaker trend.. we were rockin those in the 9th grade, ( 3 yrs ago) .. i hope it doesnt blow up now, cus its old to me

US$1145 for a pair of high heeled sneaker is kinda steep. Have to see it IRL to judge if they look nice.

i loved the jordan 4 stillettos christinia milian rocked, and the pierre hardy’s are ill too but im not diggin the converse so much. too clunky.

I totally have these shoes from like, 1998 – most similar to the Pierre Hardy ones. These would go excellent with some of the Chloe Sevigny/Opening Ceremony stuff.

i have searched all over the web but cannot find the pair of high heelded junnya watanabe x converse all star sneakers in the top pic. does anyone know where to find them.
