On April 3rd the opening night of the gala of the upcoming Takashi Murakami retrospective at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Louis Vuitton will unveil their newest accessory line called Monogramouflage. The new line will combine LV’s iconic monogram canvas with a new camouflage print. How exciting it that! Similar to the MOCA pop-up store in LA, Vuitton will be opening a pop-up store in Brooklyn Museum of Art. The Murakami exhibit will be open to the public from April 5th to July 3rd. I’m super excited about this since I wasn’t able to go to the MOCA exhibit in LA! via Fashion Week Daily

I’m really curious to see the new line. I’m not too fond of the standard olivegreen camouflage print… hopefully they used another colour. Maybe not pink which has been used for camouflage patterns abundantly. I could imagine that a nice brown like the original monogramm has would like nice, also a bright turquoise would be quite cool. Well, but since it was designed by T. Murakami and M. Jacobs I’m not too frightened that I won’t like it!!
