First look at the H&M x Marimekko women’s collection preview, the line is slated to hit H&M stores April 2008. This collection of Marimekko’s popular bright and colorful patterns from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s are great for the summer. The collection is available for women, men and children, ranging from summer favorites - wide 70s dresses, tunics, skirts, shorts, hats and accessories. Even though I don’t rock one piece bathing suits, there’s one that I might get and wear as a top with a cardigan and some skinny jeans or skirt. Do you guys like anything from this collection?

the hot pink and tangerine t-shirt for defs. Possibly the black/white/red bathing suit.

I love the bathing suites and the long skirts and dresses.
like the black/white print, but the pieces are just mediocre….
the orange satin-y sleeveless top on the second page is nice
and I like the onesie as well, I’d totally buy it just to wear as a top…or maybe a true onesie with leggings/high denier count tights underneath? gah I need an H&M
The prints are gorgeous, and some of the pieces are lovely, but why is the silhouette so shapeless and baggy? Does this look good on anyone?

I really like the orange/hot pink and the black/white patterns…but…eh..the orange and brown PANTS?? I just can’t imagine anyone looking good in those.
i like the prints but nothing really stands out for me besides the actual prints, i don’t really like the shapes of the garments….unflattering,except…i loooove the bikini!!! so much!!! Bikini, je t’adore beaucoup!!! it would really look good i think….for me this liquid summer,….i want it now!!
I second Gorgie - any woman with breasts above a B should stay away from those undefined waistlines. BUT - I am feeling that bathing suit, i must say.
I love the last three! Oh, I hope that someday they will finally have online ordering in the U.S., for those of us unlucky enough not to live anywhere near an H&M. It drives me crazy to see these online and not be able to access them. Someday, someday…
I do “rock” one-piece bathing suits and any bathing suit for that matter. I love this suit and I love the prints, but the shapes are well, shapeless. thanks for sharing.
