After a long break from giveaways, I am finally getting back into action. Actually this giveaway was suppose to happen before my Hong Kong trip but I got too tied up with things so it got delayed till now. But better late than never right? (1) My first consideration is always design. I don’t rock tees too much, but when I do, be sure it’s something flashy with a cool design or vintage screen.
(2) The second thing I consider is fit. I prefer snug fitting tees that are a little longer in length than regular female tees. I have a long torso and I don’t like it when tee’s ride up and expose my belly (which isn’t too toned lol)
(3) The third thing I consider is material. Alot of brands are making female tees with like 4+%spandex and being that I like my tees snug, they end up hugging my body in a not-so-flattering way. Give me a 100% cotton tee any day.

4) Three things that are imperative to consider
a) the fit of the shirt and how you will wear it… jeans? leggings? make sure the syle will fit with what your going to wear it with (ie: is it long enough, loose enough?)
b) arm band tightness…hahaha yes this is a major factor because i think there is nothing worse then getting a tshirt where it feels like your circulation is being cut off or its giving your armpit a wedgie
c) the last thing i look at when buying a tshirt is what’s on it? color and pattern are all important….this way it also determines what jacket or shoes, or purse you carry….ahh its so complicated being stylish! lol

4. The top three things I look for in a T-shirt are:
*Size- a slightly baggy fit is more appealing to me than a super tight fit because I tend to wear super tight jeans, so to have a better visual aesthetic, I like to put loose with tight rather than tight with tight.
*Scarcity- I despise the moments when I go somewhere and spot someone wearing the exact same item as I am, whether it is shirt or a small piece of jewelery, I like to be exclusive.
*Design/Artwork- Ever since I was little I had an eye for the odd and eccentric. I love bold designs and usually try to incorporate them into my daily wardrobe. My boyfriend is a graphic designer and I also aspire to be a fashion designer so we are always looking at prints, patterns and designs and these tees really caught our eye. The Dia De Las Muertas T shirt reminds me of a project my boyfriend did on Voodoo. He used skulls and a similar aesthetic so everytime I see that tee I smile. Also Marilyn Monroe is my idol and VAIN is one of my favorite words. So that purple tee might be worn a WHOLE lot by me lol.

(b) The fit, does it look on me, if it don’t then I usually dont get it (it usually comes down to the arm sleeve fit and the boob fact.. you know do the “girls” fit
(c) Colors that match the kicks, if I dont have the colors which is a rare thing, that means I have to get a new pair of kicks, which is always a plus .. a new reason to buy a new pair.

but isn’t the point of fashion to make something else your own? and give it your own style, design, and uniqueness? the way one person wears a shirt can be totally different from another. Just giving an well my insight to the older ladies =)

4. When buying a t-shirt I consider the quality and comfort. I tend to wear t-shirts and sneakers when I want to dress down or comfy, meaning the shirt has to have a comfortable loose fitting fabric, yet cute and stylish and the same time. I often look at if it will match accordingly, or not match, yet still look good with a certain pair of shoes. Other than that, I like graphic designs that appeal to me.

i always look into colors, especially a color targeted for the season/trend. i also look into the fit of the tshirt, it it fits me comfortably and it doesnt have to tight of a look. another thing i look into when i like a shirt if it just fits me, meaning fits my style- if it catches me attention.

(1) I look at it’s material. If it’s made with thin material, i wouldn’t buy it. Cotton is for me.
(2) How fitting it is. Each tee has different sizes and measurements depending on each store. I don’t want to rock a tight tee that ends under my ass or a baggy tee over my waist.

Design – I love t-shirts with bold design and pleasing to the eye. Sick designs on a shirt turns head every time!
Color – It has to be a nice color combo and somehow matches the kicks i wear

1) Design first and foremost. Subtlety is what i go for when it comes to creativity, expressions, words or graphics. I would never rock a tee that is loud, exaggerated or overdone.
2) Material. Meaning, it better not shrink! But to be safe, I’ll almost always buy a slighty bigger size than what usually fits me, so when I leave room for it to shrink if it does.
3) Fit. No suffocating neck line. I look to pair my tee with skinnies so I prefer a somewhat loose and long feel. Not like it’ll drape over me, but nothing too snug.
