The Longchamp and Jeremy Scott Pliage Bag collaborations seems to be a long term deal, this is the 4th edition released (correct me if I’m wrong). I personally own the Poodle Bag which was purchased back in ‘07 and is by far my favorite to date but I don’t get much use of it b/c the handle is a bit weird. I’ve only used it a few times when I went on trips, I would prefer the sizing to be a bit smaller and the handle longer so I’m able carry it on my shoulder - that way it can be an everyday bag.
This new version is an enlarged gold credit card signed by Jeremy Scott, perfect for all shopaholics haha! The bag is still available via colette.fr for about US$270, cop it quick it won’t be there for too long!
I absolutely LOVE the Pliage collection. I have several of the long handle 13″ bags that I use to commute into work and I have large ones with the short handles for traveling. I’m not a fan of the Jeremy Scott special editions because of the handle issues as you stated but the gold card theme is HOT!
FYI, Wendy…I buy my Pliage bags from a store called Dinofer in Greenwich, Connecticut. They also have a website www.magnums.net. For a limited time, they will not be charging tax on Longchamp items. The tax adds up, so this is a dope deal.
