The much anticipated Topshop NYC store is generating lots of hype and is coming full force to take over Soho with a “40,000-square-foot store composed of four selling floors; glossy shelving; futuristic lighting tubes and a DJ booth, both suspended from the ceiling; an ‘army’ of mannequins; a shoe lounge; 32 changing rooms, and a VIP suite for the expected celebrity clientele”. To provide more of a luxury service, there will be personal shoppers, “stylists” for women and “style advisers” for men and “Topshop to Go at-home shopping service and Express for home delivery will also be offered”. Topshop will also keeping their products at full price, they will not be promoting any sales or discounts so save up your pennies! Sir Phillip Green, owner of Topshop, is also looking for additional retails spaces – in his radar are 34th Street, Fifth Avenue and Lexington Avenue in the 50s. Topshop is slated to open its door in four months, on October 10, 2008, I hope the date doesn’t get pushed back – I can’t wait!!! via WWD Topshop / Topman 6 Responses to “Topshop Soho Hype – Are You Ready?”![]() COMMENTS PAGE:![]() |
